I'd take egbuka personally. Love TH.. he's an athlete.. and can do it all. However in the amount of snaps his body has to endure to play effectively on both sides even Sanders admitted it would be difficult.. but yes it could have been a different story with McKay and that offense.. however he's still playing a ton of snaps anyway you slice it..
I would have started him at Corner, and had him on the Diggs plan on offense.

Jags did the exact opposite. It's just crazy, he's played both ways since high school, but he gets to the Factory of Sadness in StripMall, Florida, and gets a season-ender. Sad.

I hate franchises like that, I really do, and there's nothing that can be done about it. Look at all the players from the Jets, Browns, Tennessee and Jacksonville that have gone on to be productive other places, especially if they get the chance to wash the stank off them for a couple of years first. Watch Zach Wilson win a couple of important games for some team down the road.

The NFL should simply not allow those teams to have high draft picks, they just waste them.

Let them (and the Saints, Panthers and Phins) pick 26-32, then have a weighted lottery for picks 1-12 followed by reverse order 13-25. Those 7 teams are going to be in the bottom anyway, the other 25 would have a realistic chance of getting lucky.

It should happen but it never will.

The Saints should not be grouped in with the likes of Jets, Browns, Dolphins etc. They have only started to fall apart recently.

Great points. I absolutely love the player and the person he is off the field.. as you mentioned it all matters to wicj franchise your drafted too. I hope he recovers and comes back stronger. It's a tall task but id love for him to become an all pro playing both sides of the ball.

Eliot Wolf would make an outstanding GM for 31 other teams. Just exceptional. Pats should do the right thing, and not stand in his way.
Then we may know if he has final say over the 53, since they can't interview him without permission if he does and is still under contract for next year.

But why will Vrable want to practice inside?

I was in Foxboro for the 1976 Monday Night 41 - 7 victory against the Jets. That was the game that almost got the Pats banned from MNF - a feat they “earned” 5 years later. I remember my 6 year old son “aging” 10 years from what he witnessed that night. Thursday night I’ll be hoping for the same score without the shenanigans.

This is another BIG game for us to win and continue our playoff drive. It’s also a good time to recall the last even BIGGER game we had with the Jets in Foxboro. It was the Divisional Playoff in 2011 and no “tip toeing” around it, the day Coach Football Fetish came to town with Mr Butt Fumble himself and beat us 28 - 21 when we were 14 - 2 and favorites to win. Remember the pre-game Welker “Foot in Mouth” presser that got him held out from starting the game?

So far it has been a strange year with underdog teams pulling off huge upsets (Pats vs Bills anyone?), but even though anything can happen, i’m pretty sure that Coach V. realizes this better than all of us and will be coaching accordingly…

Didn't we get banned that night? Then several years later after the ban was lifted our first Monday night back was the same night Lennon got assassinated.

Or was there one more in between?

You may be correct as night games may have been banned by the town of Foxboro in between the official NFL ban.

Here's the story behind the uniforms for tomorrow night. Jim Collins, Director of retail, has talked about before that he's aware that the 90's royal blues are most asked about by fans. In this video, he mentions again the fans wanted the 90's blues and that they were worn at the height of the Jets rivalry in the late 90's. This is what I thought they were going to do as well. They at least borrow the number font from the 90's jersey's. And for anyone that doesn't know, the stars on the collar represent how many titles they've won.

I really love the NE on the shoulder. I wouldn't mind them keeping that moving forward.

You can be assured than any team has full permission to speak with Elliot Wolf whenever they wish.

I think this will be another dogfight.

One thing this Patriots team seems to be developing is determination and execution in the face of adversity and challenges, which are usually essential to winning a title.

It was after the Broncos Monday nighter in 1980 when, in addition to lots of fights, one fan died in the parking lot.
Monday night back was the same night Lennon got assassinated.
Also 1980 only in the Orange Bowl, where the jinx was kept alive by Bob Baumhower who blocked John Smith's game-winning attempt and the Dolphins prevailed in overtime.

Appropriately depressing for that evening.
