Are we currently the best team in the NFL?

I'll tell you one thing that isn't great - the locker room breakdown after wins.
I know Vrabel wants to change everything about the past - but this team should find something better than "1-2-3 Pats!" as their chant after wins. I know "awwww-yeah" was getting old, but man, bring some character and identity. find something!
Just win baby.

We are better than the Eagles and Packers tonight.
I think this game singlehandedly set offensive football back 100 years.
Talk about UGLY!

you know things are going well when people are complaining about the locker room chant after wins

I don't think we are the best team based on current play, but we are closer to 1 than 10. I think there is a strong argument for the Rams, Seahawks, Eagles and Lions. Not that those teams are without a doubt better than the Pats, but I think there is an argument to be made for them as I feel an argument can be made for us. That is why I say we are closer to 1 than 10.

People are sleeping on the Eagles. Not only are they super bowl champs, their defense is phenomenal and offense has it all. An all world RB, 2 # 1 receivers a great TE and a dominant OL and DL.
They also have plenty of depth everywhere and are tied for best record in the league.

In my view its Eagles 1, Seahawks 2, Rams 3,, Chiefs 4.

Can not solely focus on the W-L.

Come on Tommy, they are more than that.
Lead by a SB winning QB who is playing at a ridiculous level.
Very good D
Goff coaching.
The league has had a couple of years to figure out Nacua……
Goff coaching??

Detroit, Philly, Rams, KC, and Denver...let's not forget the Seahawks are cooking too.

Colts or Pats are best team in AFC but Colts need to prove they are not a dome/good weather only team.

Chiefs are probably next scariest due to the defense and Mahomes/Reid in a playoff game.

I think we are getting #1 seed, if we do I think we go to Super Bowl. If we don't I think less likely.

NFC has some potent offenses and top QB's. Stafford and Rams is scary and that defense is good. Seattle next and then Lions. Eagles have the defense but too many team that will still put up points and hard to see Eagles keeping up. Bucs will be in the mix if they get healthy.

Rams, Seahawks, Lions, Colts, Chiefs, Pats in some order.
The #1 seed will have a big advantage so however the seeds shake out will help determine the Super Bowl teams.

Teams without top offenses like Philly and Denver and Green Bay will be hard pressed.

I think the Rams and Lions are clearly better , maybe the Seahawks as well.

Agreed. The AFC will largely come down to homefield.

Pats are 5-0 on the road. If I’m a playoff opponent I wouldn’t want to face this team in January.

We aren't the best. But are in the conversation. I think any of these teams could give us a hard time if we played them today (and we conversely could also beat them).

Seahawks
Rams
Eagles
Colts
Lions

I also don't discount the Chiefs. Yeah, their record is dogshit and they have had some clunkers. But let's see how they are playing in December. They remind ( a bit) of those Patriots teams that maybe didn't cruise through the season, but hit the playoffs hard and had the experience to shine best and not crumble under the heat of the playoffs.
