We are doomed.

The Pats are pretenders, buoyed by a creampuff schedule. The Buc will expose us. We don't even belong on the same field as them.

Vita Vea will turn Drake Maye into Drake Maye-be. Atlanta wrote the book on how to rattle Maye, TB will repeat it. Vea will shred our IOL like tissue paper.

Emeka Egbuka will remind us why we should have taken JSN - the steal of the 2023 draft - over Christian Gonzalez. We need an elite WR to stand a chance.

After TB gets done with us, we will be lucky to get by the Jets on TNF.

We're doomed!

Did I miss anything?
Thank you because now I don't need to go into the GDT. LMAO

No big surprises here.

Really hope Rham can go Sunday if we're missing Boutte; any help for the passing game will go a far way. Rham should be able to do damage from the backfield and Slot.

Thanks, did not see that. If its the same injury designation he had last week hopefully means he’ll be fine
Is Ben Brown that much of a step down from Bradbury? Brown was OK stepping in for Wilson. Not sure this is a big issue as Bradbury struggles a lot with DT bull rushes. Vita Vey - who is best to block him? Bradbury or Brown? Might be ............................

Good question, i heard the same about bradbury on the vikes boards that he’ll be good for stretches but can get tossed around.

I do like brown in relief but don’t know if hed be better. Youre right he did well against Carolina and for a bit last year - we just asked too much out of him. Not sure if hes improved enough to take on an assignment like this though.

I read that its turf toe, if thats the case i dont know if hed be back before Cincinnati

Heres the full list

Gonna need a bigger player to block Vita Vea...

I think Bradbury is more athletic, meaning faster and quicker, but Brown is a bigger boy. Against Vita Vea I am not sure that it is obvious that Bradbury is preferred. Brown might be better at stone walling a lot of Vita's bull rushes, especially if Bradbury needs a week or two of rest.

So, if I am not mistaken (by his absence from this list); this is the first week that Barmore was NOT given the Wed off.

Is this the fallout from that discipline action of being held out one quarter?

Just wondering.

Here's a real concern I have for this week, the weather. I saw a clip from Ninkovich on a talk show. In it, when he found out it was going to be a 1pm start, he winced. He said he hated 1pm starts in Tampa because of the heat AND humidity. He described how during warmups he struggled for breath, and how it was just hard to he hydrated and effects your sharpness.

Nothing you can do about it, and I'm sure it's worse in September, but it is probably a worse unfair advantage than the snow (which we no longer have much of before January) and cold advantage we have on southern teams. With cold weather you can add layers to mitigate the cold. There is nothing you can do about the heat but try and bear it.

I wonder if it might be a small benefit if we traveled to Tampa on Friday night and at least get a full day + to gain some kind of comfort level, so the heat just isn't like a shock, as Ninko described.

It's a shame the game's not Monday, it's going to be 64 in Tampa, Monday, 82 w/75% humidity Sunday

This does sound like Vrabel. Instead of his usual day off (benefitting the team), Barmore is forced to participate in practice (befitting the team in a different way).

Not sure how much we lose by having Jennings instead of Rham. He has looked ok based on casual inspection of a limited sample last couple of weeks.

This seems confusing as Wednesday traditionally is game-plan installation day following players' Tuesday off. Has Barmore been excused from Wednesday practices to manage his blood clot problem?

Barmore was given every Wed off til now with a designation that said "not health related" or "not injury related" or some such. I forget exact wording.

That is what was reported.

To my knowledge, it was never explained why he was getting time off (bloodclot mgmt; vet-benefit; personal situation; star-treatment). I never saw any twitter /insta post by anyone saying the why. Just if it was for blood clots, for me the parenthetical explanation didn't make sense.

So here was the one from the pre-Atlanta Wed: "Not Injury Related / Other "
