Van Noy was a bust at the time of the trade. Belichick knew what to do with him. Talib was a great get.I would add Van Noy and Talib.

Forgot about TalibVan Noy was a bust at the time of the trade. Belichick knew what to do with him. Talib was a great get.
The colts got fleeced
They have been down this road before and until they prove that they can build a team its still the same old same.Their fans need to take a deep breath and understand what they are doing. Not only are they getting primo draft capital, they are getting tons of cap space for next offseason, so they can build through the draft and free agency. They can even move around the draft board with all of those picks, lots of flexibility.
If I was a fan, I’d be pretty upset, but you have to think about it more deeply. The rest of 2025 will be a disaster, but they weren’t going anywhere anyway. They can add even more draft capital by trading other pieces before the deadline. Maybe trick someone into a 2nd or several picks for Hall.
Teams can turn around pretty fast. Land that QB, fill holes in free agency and the draft.
Sauce - Q Williams and Garret Wilson good building blocks: all First Rounders. How did that work out for them??Maybe, but 2027 could be the best first round since 2011 and they have three picks. They might get lucky and build an outstanding team out of it.
I considered the results of the player but yeah your right.Van Noy was a bust at the time of the trade. Belichick knew what to do with him. Talib was a great get.
Or maybe a team wasn’t willing to trade a 1st.They can just franchise tag him now. They have more than enough cap space and he's ideal to support a rookie QB.
In theory yes but they forgot about that Quarterback thing. Also it’s good to have 5 good players but bad to have the other 48 players suck.Sauce - Q Williams and Garret Wilson good building blocks: all First Rounders. How did that work out for them??
Never said it was a given but maybe they get this one right. It's all QB dependent though.Sauce - Q Williams and Garret Wilson good building blocks: all First Rounders. How did that work out for them??
Gotta remember who you are talking to.This is a terrible take.
The Pats are 7-2; first place in the division and currently the #2 seed in the AFC. Plus we have one of the easiest, if not the easiest, remaining schedule in the NFL.
He’s not gonna come out and announce it to the world, but of course Vrabel thinks the Pats are a contender this year. How could he, or anyone else for that matter, think otherwise given the facts listed above.
Obviously we are building for the future, but make no mistake, the Pats are a contender NOW. They may not be the favorites, but it’s foolish to say at this point in the season that they’re not in the mix.
It’s also fake, check out some of the other “stories” it has posted.Wow, that would be crazy. Hockenson is a good TE, worth way more than a 5th.
Hall after reading that…
