Agreed, that should be the plan to stop robinson and make penix beat us. This is Gonzo’s first big assignment to lock up London. If penix can beat us you tip your cap.
Yes. Penix is a guy just like the last few qbs they rely on accuracy and rhythm. I'd like us to start getting a little more from our edge pressure is why thibodoeuax makes logical sense.

I don't think he's available. Abdul Carter being a bust is one of the quietest stories in the league right now.

For several reasons - inconsistency, the qb quandry, weird wins and weird losses, and so on - I find it hard to predict this game because I can't predict what sort of opponent Atlanta might be. I'm not that worried about it though. I'm feeling a little complacent - for the first time in a few years - about the Pats. It's a little like back in the Days of Dynasty, when I could pretty reliably sit back and wonder, "Just how exactly will they win this week," and watch the game with a sort idle, satisfied curiosity, maybe a little smugness tbh. Fans of other teams found us obnoxious, not without some reason. I'm feeling a little the same this week. I think this Pats team - and the qb in particular - will figure something out, pull some sort of rabbit out of the hat as needed. I'm sure this is unjustified, but I don't really care. I think they'll win, because they seem to be winners. Maybe I can't figure out what sort of opponent we have this week because I don't really think it matters that much, so why waste the effort.

I'm a bad fan. Maybe I'll get my comeuppance, but I don't think so.

Atlanta = middling

Offense: 28th in scoring
Defense: 17th in points allowed

The Pats need to play error free football and bring the energy, there’s no other reason to lose to this team.

Also the massive overpay for Travis Hunter…
Not getting into a debate here.. but I'm overjoyed as a fan we have Vrabel.. he clearly understood vederian lowe was no wear near a and starter and stood with Campbell... the Jags are try to force things upon hunter as opposed to allowing things to come naturally to him.

Agreed, Vrabes understands that line play on both sides of the ball is the most important thing along with having a QB.

Shiny hood ornament weapons, small guys… figure out QB and line play first, everything else you can figure out.

Travis Hunter was a solid prospect, predraft I compared him to Devonta Smith…. a solid player, but not a guy you trade the house to move up to #1 for.

Lol and you taught for a living

Right??! What's up with the deafening silence on that?

Atlanta’s defense is #1 in passing defense but #22 in rushing defense based on yards allowed. However, both of those metrics are going in the wrong direction with their last 3 weeks being elevated versus the average, likely due to injuries.

It would be a good week to lean on the run game. It’s easy to point to Stevenson’s injury, but to be honest, I don’t know if that’s a huge deal this week. He wasn’t running incredibly well and was a much bigger asset as a pass blocker and receiver - but if you’re going run heavy then his absence is not felt as much.

Henderson can be used inside some and also featured on pitches, sweeps, outside runs. Jennings seems like he’s better as the inside run guy. They may want to PS elevate Johnson also and give him some basic carries to spell the other guys. This will be a week about getting the run blocking right, and then sprinkling in play action passes to the tight ends, Boutte, Hollins and Diggs here and there.

Absolutely. I saw clamoring for him on the forum.. however Campbell wich earned some huge praises from myles Garrett was the correct choice.

Another point in case.. Marcus Jones who's operating without an agent Vrabel gives him a nice contract extension. Showing him his value to the team.

I get the draft fascination with hunter but conquer one side of the ball before you try and commit to both.

To force you to watch a gif of course.
I honestly did not notice the little picture this time. Why not have Mom print it out for you and put it on the fridge, right next that very clever finger painting of a monkey.

Because that would require all the pre-draft hype men to say they were w-w-w-wrong.

I would just say, I don’t know if their pass defense is “good” as much as opposing teams find running on them so easy that they don’t have to pass.

Atlanta’s defense is ranked dead last in passes attempted against them. They also aren’t great in the red zone, 25th worst in passing TD%. Just not good overall, but I agree with your assessment the Pats should lean on the run game. You have a big physical but not overly athletic guy in Jennings, feed him the rock.
