I don’t think the percentage is that high. I appreciate and respect everything he did and I’ve always fallen under the side of great coaching with the right players leads to special things, and Brady obviously fell into that category. And given all the bad decisions we see every January, having a great coach who doesn’t freeze in critical situations is absolutely an underrated factor which falls under the “Players win games, coaches lose them.” Bill was critical in all of it, including helping that entire locker room believe they could finish the job and they were prepared enough to do it.

With that in mind, Bill isn’t helping his cause with his current choices and it will cloud the memories in the short term of those who also disagree. But when the dust settles, he’ll remain the best coach this club has ever seen. At least barring another unprecedented 20yr run by someone else.

My perception is most of this board appreciates all that Bill brought to this franchise and is saddened by how it wound down and where he seems to be at now, none of that changes our concept of him as undeniably the greatest coach of the Super Bowl era.

FWIW I never posted from it I just used it so I can read unfiltered.

You don't need a burner to do that you can just log out but then you have to deal with adds and Pop ups.

I think it's just what well coached, good football teams do. They realize they aren't playing at a peak level yet. I don't think it's because of BB or leftover from some long gone value system, nor is it regional. Just trying to get better, and recognizing there's plays to be made still and improvement needed. Williams has been on teams that have played at the highest level possible. He knows what's needed.

Good stuff though.
