I've never ignored or muted anyone. Yet somehow I don't see everyone's posts anymore.

SB1 ignores or mutes me so now I need a burner account so that my experience isn't censored otherwise I don't see game/pregame threads.

The only way you wouldn’t see a thread someone else started is if you have them on ignore. Even if someone blocks you or you block them, it has no effect on whether or not you see a thread they start. That’s strictly tied to the ignore function and all blocks/mutes are within a thread. Not outside of it.

I am still working on on making toggleable. Just haven’t been able to deconstruct the function that does that yet.

The only way you wouldn’t see a thread someone else started is if you have them on ignore. Even if someone blocks you or you block them, it has no effect on whether or not you see a thread they start. That’s strictly tied to the ignore function and all blocks/mutes are within a thread. Not outside of it.

I've never muted or blocked anyone..... somehow I stopped seeing certain things. It seems to tie to the people who claim they block/ignore me. The screen shot I posted of SB1 doesn't appear on this account so I took the screenshot from a burner.

If someone has blocked you, you wouldn’t see their content. You’ll still see the thread they started, but none of their posts once you’re in thread. If they ignore/mute you, your posts are visible to them, but not the other way around.

I think I share this sentiment with a lot of folks who've been here for a bit, your obsessive descent saddens us no end. You are clowning yourself by handing the poster you're naming and his compatriots the very bat they are beating you with yet somehow you don't see what is very obvious to everyone else. Your tormentors seem to lack the 'regular guy' decency gene that keeps most of us from kicking a guy while he's down but make no mistake, you have put yourself on the floor for them while wearing kick me signs front and back. A few vicious clowns are enjoying your torment but I honestly believe it pains the bulk of the community here, who they also have no consideration for. You remember 'us' don't you?

I know I'm pissin' in the wind on this but please put down the pipe/edibles, just back away and take the time to do some soul searching. Heck if needed get some help but please find your way back to us.

The HC has always been dependent on his players - specifically the QB.

Many on the Pats coaching staff including BB thought their jobs were on the line after the 5-13 start since 2000. Herm Edwards mentioned this a long time ago and Scott Pioli confirmed it during the documentary. Bob Kraft was pissed at BB for not starting Drew Bledsoe against the Rams and told him "you better make it work" (also stated in the documentary). Had Tom Brady been a bad QB, BB would've been shown the door after 2001 season. This shouldn't even be a question any longer.

Fast forward to today. Vrabel is dependent on Drake Maye and he is the main reason they are 6-2.

Well, an interesting dynamic to all of this is JMD / Vrabel.
Not sure if I'm reading into it, but it doesn't seem like Vrabel & Josh have great chemistry on the sidelines, and every time Mike is asked about Josh - he vastly underplays it, changes the subject. Sideline shots don't show Mike giving Josh much love after scores or wins, etc... I wonder if Mike is a bit insecure based on how much play JMD is getting for turning around this offense and Maye - which is the whole point. JMD's offense and work with Maye has been a bigger part of turning this team around ON THE FIELD, than Vrabel has.

The reason that exists is I’d prefer someone blocking someone and having to not deal with constant bickering the same way I’d prefer people just mute people or ignore them rather than being upset they exist on the board. We can police malice but not differences of opinion.

If someone ever unblocks someone, snipes them, and then re-blocks them, that would be a different issue. But for now, having two people who don’t like each other no longer engage each other is certainly something I’d prefer.

OFC you do, that's a big part of what many of us see as the problem. How about a good faith experiment? How about you block/ignore/mute/excommunicate the people posting what you perceive as that 'hate' and see what happens? For our sake if not your own?

Good QB always, always, ALWAYS and forever over good coach. QB's can carry inferior coaches to success but coaches cannot do the same to QB's. Coaches can put their QB in a position to succeed but it's up to the QB to execute that's why they get the credit.

Obviously that's not saying an inferior coach can't ruin a young talented QB. They certainly can and we've seen it here and around the league.
