Interesting attitude of our players that mirrors BB

He gets open at an obscenely low rate. He always has. Are you really telling me his catch rate is him and not Maye? Prior to last game he was almost non-existent as a receiver.
When have we run screens?

He is not a threat at all as a WR.
7 catches for 90 yards last week says you're wrong.

He signed here for peanuts, so how much did the Bills really want him?

Hollins is a WR who struggles to get open and catch passes. We have good receiving RBs and TEs so we kind of overcome that to an extent.
But you simply can’t run a WR out there who has a career 1.1 yards per route run (he is up to 1.39 after last week but that’s still terrible).

I get he plays a lot on running downs but he has run 150 routes. The passing offense needs more than what he provides.
I've been saying that for a while and people treat me like I'm the antichrist lol

I think he's super solid in a WR4 role because he plays some STs and can be pseudo-TE3. He's a pretty versatile player in terms of where he can line up and seems to do little things well (example - on DIggs TD he did a good job picking the defender with no OPI, not something to be taken for granted).

Whether it's Pop or Williams emerging or a replacement... hopefully we get an actual WR3 while Diggs still has some left in the tank to round out a legit 3WR set with him and Boutte. Obviously can be better than a WR3 but I'll take just that.

I find it ironic that we look at a guy who is bad at the primary function of his position and rationalize that he must be good at routine things.

He must be a good special teamer?
Hollins has played 39 snaps on special teams and has not registered a statistic. He’s not a “good STer”

Then he must be a great character guy.
Hollins in on his 5th team in 5 years. Did all the other teams get rid of him despite this invaluable character?

Must be blocking?
Are we really going to choose a starting WR for blocking? Has he really had an impact? Our running game hasn’t been strong and I have not noticed him springing and long runs with second level blocks.

He is playing because we have no one else, until they deem Williams ready.

What's the rule?

(Some of) You people are taking things that every coach does and comparing it to Belichick despite it being quite a stretch.

“Vrabel congratulates his players after a win! Belichick used to do that!!”

“Vrabel coaches up his players to try and do better! Wow! Just like Belichick used to!!”

“Vrabel drinks water! OMG Belichick drinks water too!!!!!”

As long as Hollins makes plays when called upon, I'm good. He wasn't brought in to be Randy Moss.
We are a better offense if we have a guy who is effective at getting open. Struggling to get open but not screwing up the catch when you do is a very low bar.

7 catches for 90 yards last week says you're wrong.
11 all year before that while getting starter snaps says I’m not.

If he puts up his best game of the season every week then my position changes. But you are pointing to the anomoly game.

You wanted to cut Hollins and keep Polk and Baker because you claimed that they have potential.

Hollins has 9 more regular season games to go and currently rocks a 85.7% catch rate. I wonder if Maye trusts Hollins?

Hollins has been a solid role player for a team that was sorely lacking in competent, lunch pail dudes for years.
Parcells had those kind of guys. BB had those guys too.

Combined they won 8 Super Bowls. Vrabel is using a blueprint that always gets results.

Gee here we go again with you lying about what I believe.
GFY

If lying and BS was money you'd be wealthy.

You also told us that Hollins got McDaniel's fired.

Of course you dont agree.

Because Its the truth.
