It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Before you put another parlay out, the Patriots have not won a game when Drake Maye has more than 30 attempts. That’s not likely to change unless they get way behind. They are winning by running a lot and the Drake Maye killing it when he does throw.
Another pass rusher and a serviceable running back might just be enough to make a respectable playoff run.The pats putting up 422 yards & 6.5 ypp against the browns defense makes them a sb contender. They can score in the high 20s against the chiefs, bills & colts. Make a move for a pass rusher at the trade deadline.
I am not surprised. If you at the two games they lost, they averaged over 41 passes a game. In the six games they have won, the have averaged 25 attempts per game and have not thrown more than 30 times. You'd be surprised. New England has been amazingly balanced offensively. After today's game the Pats have run it 229 times and thrown it 228.
I think that is a perfect way to describe Drake. Hopefully he continues on this trajectory so that we can fairly call him elite. The best thing the Belichick ever did in the post Brady era for the franchise has turned out to be putting Matt Patricia as OC and ending the Mac Jones as a viable QB option so we could get an actual QB with elite NFL traits.
Mac Jones doesn't reach this level even in his own dreams.
This is a superstar in the making we have at QB.
ty dadYou meant to pluralize gameS

Yes agreed Myles Garrett make it happen. The pats putting up 422 yards & 6.5 ypp against the browns defense makes them a sb contender. They can score in the high 20s against the chiefs, bills & colts. Make a move for a pass rusher at the trade deadline.
It's always obvious to us because we see the play developing from the sky and sideline and we don't see the defensive backfield. All it takes to work is for one defender to get fooledNot sure, but at the time I thought it was going to be disastrous - either a huge loss or a pick.
I felt like it was way too obvious what was happening, too slow to develop, and everybody could see what was happening.
I noticed that too during the later years. It sounded like when I'd go to a Lakers game and you could hear people's conversations or shoes squeaking on the hardwood floor it was that bad. The crowd would only wake up against a top team or the playoffs.BTW, the crowd noise was louder today than I ever remember. During the Brady years, the crowd got too complacent. The years in between, there hasn't been much to cheer about. Gillette will never be confused with Arrowhead, but it is good to see the crowd at least be loud again.
They could make it through the Superbowl and not face that caliber again. Primarily because the Browns suck other than sack stats.Hope Will Campbell learned a lot Today. He won't face a guy of Garret's caliber for a while.
Trey Hendrickson would be the next guy, but he seems like he's dogging it. Brian Burns will be tough. That's about it.Hope Will Campbell learned a lot Today. He won't face a guy of Garret's caliber for a while.
You tell us? You wouldn't miss a guy that big would you?I wonder what Barmore was kept out the first half? Discipline related? Was he down in Providence again?...
Ummmm. That was us for awhile after TFBPenix didn't play and Cousins had a real bad day.
That Browns QB sucks. How can you field and NFL team with a straight face without a legit QB?
As soon as Mickey D ran misdirection like KC, the Cleveland D didn't know whether to crap or draw small straws. They were not ready for that at all. I was glad to see the Pats throw to Stevenson too (something that the Browns didn't expect} Rahm has superb hands in regards to receiving.
Some Commentators are convinced that NE is winning the AFCE.
