Looked to me the timing or spacing was off on those double teams on Garrett. He'd get chipped, but then Campbell didn't ever meet him square on.

And amazing the plays Garrett made so late in the play - incredible quickness and motor to first deal with a couple of blockers and then chase down a scrambling Maye.

Drake Maye is incredible.

Saw a stat the Daniel Jones has been sacked only 7 times all year. Maye was sacked 6 times TODAY. Could you imagine how much MORE damage Maye could do, even if they cut the sacks in half ? As it is Maye is doing a great job, need to get him more Oline help in the offseason.

I heard that he was jumping up and down on the sidelines after he left the game. With the game in hand by then, there was no need to send him back in. Caution is sometimes the best.

Well, Cleveland is the #1 defense in the NFL. How'd Drake do?

As a runner, excluding kneeldowns, 4 carries for 53 yards (13.3 yards per carry)

Elite QB stats against an elite defense.

He threw a pick, and ran into a number of sacks, not all were on the OL.

Just playing my expectations have been exceeded by so much and I am so high that I can't even see where I set the bar.

Expecting Maye to not get sacked/pressured against Cleveland was unrealistic. They are the #1 defense in the league. Him facing a defense like this will only be good for the future.

The theory I've heard is that they deliberately play vanillia defense for the first 15 plays, see what the other team wants to do and then adjust accordingly. Disconcerting sometimes but it seems to be workiing more often than not.

I’ve always called the ‘the scouting drive.’ Frustrating to watch over and over again but … the results tend to be not bad ..

Yep, lots of sacks but 422 yards of offense and 30 POINTS against a legit defense works for me.
