He does have an injury designation, but is it so serious that he needs to miss the game or is his trade candidacy influencing his absence? We'll never know, I'm sure.

Dugger was the only player limited in practice Friday FWIW.

Would love to see KW and T Henderson arrive Today... it's been a while.

Duggar, Keion White and Wallace all inactive.. trading block??
Duggar is allegedly hurt, White a healthy scratch, not sure about Wallace..
WTF do you mean "allegedly". He's been on the injury report all week as being limited in practice with his knee and questionable for the game.

its all about finding your role... KR is apparently not his forte...
I thought Chism was pretty good on the kick-offs. He wasn't Antonio Gibson at 28.1 YPR, but he was better than either Stevenson (20 YPR) or Henderson (22 YPR).

Let's face it. Chism was far too tentative to be doing returns.
Agree 100%.
I don't know if can't do it, but he was too hesitant and looked bad.

he was fine... just didn't look dynamic, if that makes sense...

Yeah.. That makes sense. I mean, he wasn't a world beater there, but I didn't expect that either.
It will be interesting to see what Jennings and Williams can do back there.

Browns defense is good - they can get after the QB with 4, cover, and stop the run. Patriots should win, but I wouldn't be shocked to see a bunch of turnovers that lead to a Patriot loss.

Henderson just needs to play free and let his speed and athleticism take over.
I say that because he has been a little hesitant on some runs, can't do that in the return game.

I'm not sure how I think this will go. What do you do to set up what else you are going to do: pass short, pass long, run the ball? It would be nice to slow the pass rush by forcing Cleveland's O-line to mind their run responsibilities. Can you show you are willing to go deep to open up the short passing game? Do you threaten with short passes to occupy linebackers, helping the run. And so on. Add to this that if Cleveland puts quick pressure on Drake, either he runs - which makes everybody a little nervous for pretty good reason - or you pass short, something at which Drake is pretty good, notwithstanding his aversion to dink and dunk.

I have no idea, which leads to to think that this is a case where Cleveland's D is in a position to call the tune, play after play. So I guess that means the game plan is to read correctly what their D is up to and - quickly - come up with the right option that play. This puts the game in your QB's hands, in his brain. It's more a qb's game than an oc's game. Can he figure it all out quickly enough? I think he can. It won't be perfect, of course, but I think it'll be good enough, in part because our D should be able to keep the score at a reasonable level. This game is a cool little puzzle.

He just wasn't fast, which isn't surprising. He's not a straight-line-fast guy. He's shifty, and the kickoffs aren't really about being shifty anymore. They're about being able to make one, maybe two, really good reads and cuts and then outrunning everybody else. It's why it's a good role for a RB who's used to seeing and hitting the hole. Not really the best role for Chism, who's shifty enough to perhaps see the opening but isn't gonna beat anyone in a footrace.

Kyle Williams who was mentioned above is an interesting choice. If he can make the right cut he can dust everybody to the goal line. Even if he can't make the right cut, he has enough speed to still get to around the 30 most of the time before getting tackled, which is solid starting position.

Greetings to the brave warriors of the GDT. May you come through unscathed ... and GO PATS!
Going dark to enjoy the game as usual. Enjoy the doom and gloom!
