OK, you disagree with the assessment and evaluation of Vrabel and the staff. That's fine.

For many posters, bring in an untested rookie is the answer to a veteran who hasn't found his role in a new system. I get it.
===========
THE VRABEL AND STAFF, WHEN WHITE IS HEALTHY
1) Jennings gets almost no reps and is sometimes inactive.
2) Ponder gets no reps and is sometimes inactive
3) Swinson isn't worth elevating. Jennings, Ponder and someone off the streets this week are all ahead of him. Swinson isn't even worth elevating.
I don’t disagree with Vrabs evaluation. Swinson didn’t make the team for a reason.
When I say I would rather get Swinson on the roster, I was implying when/if he’s ready. I didn’t state that, but that’s obv to me anyway, maybe not to others. I know what I know, and I know I don’t see these guys everyday and have the insights the coaches do. That all said, White has been bad, his spot is definitely one I would look at upgrading if possible.

Isn’t it funny that “Steel sharpens steel” is such a commonly used phrase, but it’s actually not true.
Steel does not in fact sharpen steel.
I’m a nerd, carry on
Damn, dude, look at what you started!

Well don't hold back list them. Also list what starting caliber players are on the market at those positions.
RB
TE
Safety
CB
DE
LB

As fans, no one knows who is or is going to be available at the trade deadline.

I hope nobody signs him off our PS. Still wonder Jack Westover is on the active Roster.
Your irrational hatred of a rookie fullback who has never played fullback before making nothing, will never cease to amaze me.

This is where analysis becomes paralysis.
Maye is making excellent decisions about where to throw the ball. Because of that and his accuracy he is completing a ridiculously high percentage of his passes and your conclusion is he should change his decision making and throw to Diggs when he doesn’t think he’s open because when he is open he completes most of them.
This is the same as saying our best yards per rush is running to the left C gap, so we should only run to the left C gap.

The 2025 Patriots are not the pinnacle of offensive football. You think they are beyond questioning or discussion. That's fine, I find it to be a silly take.

You can reject whatever you want, but facts are facts.
On the field with real production it has been one of the best in the league, and there really is no counter argument to that.

Wrong. I showed the production of the current WRs which is better than Browns. You can’t put him on the field without taking someone away.

First paragraph is bad logic. By this reasoning Malik Nabers is a bum, guy can't even get on the field.

Second paragraph- you ever hear of a 3 receiver set!? lol. I'm taking Douglas and Hollins off the field. They stink. I'm not gonna keep going on this topic with you. If you want to think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread power to ya.

So now we move to straw man?
My point is that throwing to the open man has produced the results. Forcing the ball to Diggs when he isn’t open because he has a high % when he is open is stupid.

What does Nabors have to do with anything?
Is your reading comprehension that bad?

We use 2.38 WRs per snap and they are producing more efficiently than any other team.
You are arguing we should trade a high draft pick and take on 30 mill a year so we can change what is working.

You shouldn’t keep going because you are losing this argument badly. So badly that you are making things up that I never came close to saying and attributing them to me.

If you do wish to keep going answer me this. Which WR room has produced better this year, the patriots or eagles?

You are not the only nerd on here. Not even close to top nerd.
Honing steel
A honing steel, sometimes referred to as a sharpening steel, whet steel, sharpening stick, sharpening rod, butcher's steel, and chef's steel, is a rod of steel, ceramic or diamond-coated steel used to restore keenness (the microscopic shape of the cutting edge) or sharpness (the narrowness of the cutting edge) to blade edges. They are flat, oval, or round in cross-section and up to 30 centimetres (1 ft) long. The steel and ceramic honing steels may have longitudinal ridges, whereas the diamond-coated steels are smooth but embedded with abrasive diamond particles.

“Sharpening” is a common term for “making sharper”. Splitting semantic hairs to argue that honing is not sharpening because it does not remove material flies against that common usage. The key to making an edge sharper is reshaping it, and while that can be accomplished by removing material it’s not necessary to remove material to sharpen an edge. Rearranging the existing material can suffice. So both honing and grinding are means of sharpening.
