Kayshon Boutte, how does he do it?

Now the really next-level thing, would be if Pop flattens the route out, and Maye can *adjust* to that, see what Pop sees, and that's a walk-in TD. That's Brady/Edelman ****.

I would argue that Drake did the right thing. He saw zone and threw it to Pop as if Pop was going to sit which is what he should have done because when you're trying to convert a 4th down that deep, you don't want to get too cute. Just convert and get 4 more tries at the goal line.

There's no denying Pop has the talent, but he still needs to put all these little things together and it's not helping that he's schemed out right now. That play was actually a bit frustrating to me: Pop should have seen Barton pointing at him wildly and understood that to mean he wasn't accounted for by the Titans defense, so all he had to do was get across the down line and hit the hole over the middle. Keep it simple.

It wasn't going to be a walk-in TD, the zone would have collapsed onto Pop.

If Mack Hollins were playing BADLY, you would have a point.
He's not. He's doing everything he's asked to do.
Thinking back to how we were willing to give Chris Godwin a king's ransom.. while I like the player and the person. The football god's were guiding us in the right direction. Godwin best days are behind him.. had we signed him and he miraculously remained healthy he would have been taking snaps away from Boutte.. point in case out with a fibula injury, likely joining Mike Evans on IR.. I know your a big believer in Mayfield. Now let's see if he's MVP caliber without those guys. I'm happy we have Boutte and thst he has grown into a reliable sure handed player. I'd rather have Boutte than a oft injured player.

Got get me started on Diggs, I may owe him an apology on how wrong I was about his signing. Dude has matured in football psychology.

I think much of that is due to the way Vrabel has handled him and the team. He treats all of them with respect, listens to what they have to say, and then asks the most of them. Diggs and this team overall have bought into Vrabel's coaching, and they want to play their asses off for him. And where a year ago it was obvious no one wanted to come here and play, from here on out New England is going to be a place players want to come to. The players around the league aren't blind to what is going on here, these guys are loving it, and that's going to pay off big time in the next free agency and beyond.

Mack Hollins is our #2 WR in snap count. Along with Jaylin Hawkins and the LB position next to Spillane, those are the worst starter/high snap count players on our team. I would say WR is still a need.

That’s the Mack Hollins experience, though. Last year he racked up the most snaps by far of any Buffalo WR.

Hollins is a chess piece beyond his reception numbers. It’s why he made the roster over Kendrick Bourne.

We lucked out last year too when Calvin Ridley rejected the Pats.

Vrabel has the ideal coach’s personality.

He is a player’s coach but he also has the players’ respect.

They know better than to test him.

Tarzan role is specific. He makes a nice catch or 2 a game and is a good blocker. Bourne never really got going in camp and fell behind the depth chart... then he got hurt and that pretty much made the decision easy to grant him his realease.

He's kinda Ditka-ish
I can see that.. also..I see Parcells in him.. witty, sarcastic humor, and very much in tune with his guys.. many people probably didn't know Parcells helped support alot of his ex players financially long after they retired. Vrabel strikes me as the same type of guy.

For maye who loves to deep throw Balls, he needs these tall receivers who can jump ball and catch them if not prevent them from being a interception.

Besides our oline is still developing and we could use Hollins blocking , both for middle runs as well as screen runs .

Sum of all things that Hollins does is so good - blocking, Jump ball , quai tight end , red zone target , good ST player . It never reflects in stats.

Yesterday mcaffrey ran so much and he gave credit to Kittle whose presence as well as blocking allowed him easier matchups and better running lanes. Kittle did not contribute anything significant on receiving and stats will not show how crucial he was.

Don't fix something that ain't broke.

Mack does everything well, except put up sexy fantasy numbers, thus the h8rs.

Mack does all the little things, plus makes a good catch or more each game to keep the defense honest.

As mentioned he's got the highest WR snap count on the team while Boney Thornton is a part of the circus act in KC.

Both teams are happy with what they have, and IMO we should be too.

Yes. That is why I mentioned he is role specific. Our WRs well not named Williams have some of the highest catch rate % in the league. It's insane what the rate is Drake to Diggs.. I don't mind Hollins in his role

Can't blame him even or even his girlfriend: if they say that Mayo deterrent before we all did.

Can we say if Williams was productive would he be on the field as much?
KW: better get it together in the Second Half he's getting some reps. Seeing some Rookie WR's making plays is making me do this.

It's a "show me" league. He's not getting on the field much till he shows he's better than Mack not just at production but also at blocking, running routes as drawn so other guys get open, etc.

KW needs to get involved with unprecedented history. He's playing with a QB who's on the verge of rewriting all the books.

I like KWa but every pass to him is incomplete.. pathetic
