Sidenote: anyone notice how the NFL clearly has a strict rule of not replaying concussive hits the last two years?
I was thinking they were going to do that and then they played it, commented on it, and were in the middle of the commentary when the ref came over. Think they did it right this time.

I'm 10 pages in and no one here has mentioned Matt Patricia.

Without Matt Patricia's role in the offense in '02-'03, it's highly unlikely that Drake Maye ends up a New England Patriot.

So not only did Matt coach the 2016 Patriots defense to a Super Bowl victory, but he is largely responsible for the Patriots landing Tom Brady's excellent successor.

I 100% understand. Nothing matters but the QB when a team loses.
did he had a good game? not really... stats, without context, never tell the whole story...

Cam was 11/16, 148 yards, 1 TD, 0 ints. 118.8 rating at the half... the second half numbers tell a different story... first half Cam? Played well... second half Cam? not so much

This was a fantastic complete team victory. Offense and defense both had it going on.

We had some shaky moments on defense in the 1st half but we seemed to make all the right adjustments in the second half and didn't let the Titans even SNIFF a single score in the second half.

Drake Maye played like the Chosen One. 21/23 passing for a 91% completion rate 222 yards 2 TDs and 0 turnovers. That is CYBORG-like efficiency folks! All Day Maye had it going on.

It's a really positive win. I know we were expected to win this one against a struggling Titans team but delivering on the road is always tough and the Patriots met all expectations today.

Vrabel deserves a lot of credit for instilling a winning culture and program into the Patriots. I feel the players have completely bought into what their head coach is selling and the results show it on the field.
I Maye (LOL) have missed it somewhere but with all the MVP talk I haven't heard anything about Vrable being COTY. Seems that's on rails.

He had a good first quarter and a sick garbage time.
Other than that, he was Incarnate Word Cam. Sidearm for no reason, back foot for no reason, his mechanics have regressed tremendously.

5-2 with a visit by Cleveland (who blew out Miami today) up next.

"Cleveland (who blew out Miami today)" should be enough incentive to get these guys pumped up for next week's game.

C'mon guys - give us another home win.

This is why you don’t measure football with statistics.
He put up 13 points in the first half and then when the game was being decided was shutout. His second half was handing Chaisson a TD; 3 and out, 4 and out. -3 yards of offense in the 3rd quarter then some garbage time stats.
If you want to win football games you consider him pretty damn bad today.
His D and running game did him zero favours today.
He was not as bad as you're making it out to be.
He had a couple of really bad plays, but like us last year, he made some plays that would give that fanbase hope he can be more in the future.

I love our WRs but imagine if Drake Maye had Randy Moss. He'd probably break the 2007 records.

As GOATish that Brady was, he wasn't the best deep ball passer. Maye may end up being one of the best deep ball passers in NFL history based on his limited sample size. He is as accurate 30-40 yards down the field as most QBs are in the 5-10 yard range. Next offseason getting him an elite down the field receiver should be a priority.

second half of the game he threw for 107 yards, gave up a strip sack for a TD, and basically couldn't get out of his own way...

He not a bad player, but needs to work with someone who will develop his skill set... its not too late for him... Hope the titans find the right guy for him

He really does have excellent talent, and when he was behind a brick wall in college, he damn near won the Heisman.

But he desperately needs coaching before it's too late.

but he does have me blocked... so eh... doubt it goes nowhere... No Fun League indeed
Did he maybe lose in first week of 1&Done? Blames you

The man is a genius, clearly. Not since Rich Kotite....

In fairness almost everyone else who lost blames @Pape that's just how it's done, except of course for our man @Zuma who I am fairly sure blames me

He was shut out in the second half and handed us 7 points.
I don’t know about moral victories but if you are talking about winning football games, he was bad today.

Brady didn’t have the arm strength Maye does. He had to generate power from perfect form…wind up. Maye seems able to just flick the damned ball 50 yards on a dot.

Now, if Maye can develop 80% of Tom’s brain, and competitive fire you’ll have a HOF QB in the making.

Gotta improve the O-line blocking and get the kid a true weapon that scares defenses deep.

Maye can hit him.

Uhh he whizzed down his leg when he saw Chaisson coming and gave him a TD. That, at least, was indeed as bad as it gets

Again, his D and running game didn't help him....at all.
He's starting his 6th game, and he's not ready to carry a team on his back.
That's fine tho. You thought he was bad today, I don't.
