2026 Draft: LT

I have to say, Ryan Clady was one of my favorite OL prospects ever, so just mentioning a Boise St. LT gets me excited.

Not sure if Casey has experience at RT.

I think you’ve posted more about Kage Casey in 5 mins than Arvell Reese in a month

This is not a complaint.

Giving you all the credit, was completely under my radar.

188 on PFFs big board, 186 on Consensus Big Board.

Someone to keep an eye on.

Only 38 snaps at RT in his freshman year. LT all the way aside from that. It doesn't really matter to me. Draft him in the 3rd or 4th and see where he fits later. Try him out at RT or guard and if the worse comes to the worse, you have a good quality backup LT.

Here are his career blocking grades. As you can see, he's been very consistent in both run and pass last year and this.

3rd/4th seems right, at least for now. Really nice find.

Kage Casey summary

"His character and work ethic, evidenced by turning down transfer portal money to develop at Boise State, suggest he'll maximize whatever opportunity he receives. While he may never become an All-Pro, Casey has the makeup of a ten-year professional who provides valuable depth and spot starts throughout his career. The gap between his college accolades and his draft projection reflects the NFL's emphasis on physical tools, but his technical skills and football IQ give him a fighter's chance to outperform his draft position."

Meh, thought he could be a good swing tackle option.
His pass blocking certainly warrants it, they'd just need to work on his run blocking. I do think there are better options though.

I am very reluctantly coming around to the idea that Kadyn Procter might just possibly be someone to consider in the late 1st if the Pats feel he could either be a stud LG or RT, especially he he trimmed down to 340# or something. Still scared about his floor, but he might have the highest ceiling of anyone outside of the top 25 picks.
