It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I don’t think anyone would say backup quarterback is the second most important position on the team. Will Campbell plays at a position of high value. Some say second after the QB. Some say third after the backup QB.
But if he were a RB, he’d be a mid round guy like Cam Skattebo, who went ballistic in Arizona Stare’s playoff run.
He can pass block and us a good receiver.
So why wasn’t he drafted earlier, like TreVeyon Henderson early in the second round? He, liked Campbell, lacked an important measurement. Arm length for OTs. Linear speed for RBs.
But the most important variable is the human heart.
Sometimes it's the most important see 01I don’t think anyone would say backup quarterback is the second most important position on the team.
Literally none doSome nfl executives think that.
Wrong.Literally none do [think the backup QB is the second most important position on the team].
“The most important position on your football team is the quarterback,” Ernie Accorsi said, the former GM for both the Browns and the Giants. “The second-most important position is your backup quarterback.”
yup and some are ready to flush the season if their QB should get injured. Some nfl executives think that.
I wouldn’t jump to say “he’s a great tackle”. He is rock solid and has been good in pass protection. Run blocking has left something to be desired with our group. So what we have learned is arm length isn’t the only factor in making a great tackle, and Ken doesn’t know how to read charts!
FWIW, statistically, their best running has apparently been beyond/behind Campbell, too.I wouldn’t jump to say “he’s a great tackle”. He is rock solid and has been good in pass protection. Run blocking has left something to be desired with our group.
Please. Ernie Acorsi.
Wrong.
Some say second after the QB. Some say third after the backup QB.
A backup QB being more important than a LT blocking the blind side of the starting QB is an oxymoron. The most likely reason the backup QB is playing is because the OL is ass. Some nfl executives think that.
They found an 83 year old to say that in an article about backup QBs.
