“He’s on a plan with Vrabes and Frank (Piraino) with Jim (Whalen) in the training room," Hamilton said. “It’s kind of a warm up, the early portion of practice. Just to do more — because some of the stuff is special teams or different things where it’s a jog-through, walk-through. It’s for him to just be able to get to the pace that he can go at to be able to get out there when we are in the speed periods of practice.”
He will be elevated per game, so last minute announcements.@Real fan 02: Twin Is Terrell Jennings elevated yet??
No, it didn't, One-if-by-Sea.I know. Gonzo has to stay on the field. The knock on Gonzo in the draft was that he was flashy but not tough. Gonzo did stretching classes all winter, Pilates I think, to avoid soft tissue injuries. It didn't work.
Oh ok... I saw after my post reply.. Zuma posted something on it... my opinion.. it's maintenance related after reading on it.. as I predicted earlier in the preseason this is going to be a lingering thing all season for Gonzo. Was watching F&M, they were reading a post from some media member at practice. I did read on the pulpit that it was all part of the plan. I sure hope that is the case.Oh ok... I saw after my post reply.. It is I. No, I like how things have turned out. But the insults and jibes in my Rattler appreciation—an early round talent going late in the fifth—shows I was probably right all along.Who was the poster here that loved Rattler??
Does he/she still wish the Pats had drafted him? Is this the referendum game for Maye versus Rattler?
Yes, hamstrings are delicate injuries. Look at Lamar Jackson he could be sidelined for some time with his hamstring.I did read on the pulpit that it was all part of the plan. I sure hope that is the case.
When I heard "severly limited" I was not happy.
Have we succeeded establishing the run at all this year? We've called them to varying degrees of success. Yes they've helped set up some play action but we could/should be better. How the Saints should prepare for the Patriots. Stop the run. McDaniels will make an effort at establishing the run with a lot of outside zone.
If the Patriots succeed , then it opens up play action and makes Drake’s job much easier.
Let Diggs have his big game. If the guy continues his play from last week, he can be unstoppable. So don’t double him. Give him his 100 yards.
But the Hunter Henry kid? That’s the sweet spot for the Patriots offense. Take him away. Make Drake Maye beat you. But bait him into throwing to Henry.
Get the interception.
And work on ST in practice. It’s unacceptable. The Saints are at the bottom in this category.
NT Davon Godchaux has been playing very well.
If they can limit the Giants and Cam Skattebo, then there’s a solid chance to make the Patriots one dimensional. And if DM has an off game?…
It is the line or is it the backs??Have we succeeded establishing the run at all this year? We've called them to varying degrees of success. Yes they've helped set up some play action but we could/should be better.
Maybe a combination of both; I thought T Henderson was a special RB. He's been kinda underwhelming; yeah I know he's a Rookie but we've seen Rookie RB's hit the ground running before. John Stevens - Leonard Russell and Curtis Martin. Still waiting on Henderson. It is the line or is it the backs??
We are 25th running the ball.. we stop ourselves from running.. this next phase of the season the running game needs to come to life.. Drake amd Diggs have a connection that will force defensive coordinators to respect it, and that plays into the patiots hands.. reliable guys like Henry and Boutte will capitalize... then next thing you know Williams who wins off the line of scrimmage is behind the saints defense. How the Saints should prepare for the Patriots.
