Listened to Bedard, he said this was Campbell’s worst game, largely due to poor run blocking. Same for Wilson.

Left side of the line not doing any favors for our running backs who are already struggling on their own.
I feel we should be an Offense that use the pass to set up the Run. We can get more creative with the run that way.

Meyers would be perfect for us no learning curve at all.
Perfect replacement for Boutte. When we need what TT has become.

The problems seem to go beyond the fumbles though wouldn’t you say? Hes looked completely average the last couple seasons other than Cincinnati last year and miami this year. Hes not the guy he was in 22 and its not like our OL was great that year. Hopefully Vrabels approach works and his patience pays off because we need more out of him. Not sure if he is in his own head but something is off, everytime they show his face he looks like he just got off a 14 hour flight sitting next to Aaron Rodgers
He has really picked up his receiving this year. And he has shown a couple of good bursts when the line opened space to run. Face it, none of our backs has looked as good as we think they are, so maybe it’s not them.

It's going to be hard to prove one way or the other with Maye vs Vrabel (if and when that stupidity starts). Vrabel's arrival also coincided with a massive influx of talent, both personnel and coaching.
All that talent influx was because of Drake Maye, right? He’s so attractive…

I'd say Diggs has been the WR1 we've been lacking. He's the Terry mclaurin that Daniels had last season. However I definitely agree with your overall post. No matter how the season ends we have a bright future ahead.
I am thrilled with Diggs from his play to his Leadership
He is getting up in age so I was meaning long term
It would be good to give Maye a young reliable target so he can build a chemistry with that player
I am sure they will address that when the time is needed

I’ll go even further with that
Aside from the Coach (which I believe we have a good one) that will be here for a long time
5 of the most important positions which are the cornerstones of a team.
Positions that rarely become available in FA if they are elite are QB, LT, CB, DT and WR1
From what we have seen on a small scale we may have 4 of them on the team now.
Maye, Gonzo, Campbell, Williams/Barnmore
WR1 is the least important of those 4 but will hopefully be filled next year
So including the Coach 5/6 is there.
Diggs is looking like at least a WR 1.5

So how are we feeling about the Pats now? All offseason we heard this team has a bottom tier roster from posters and some in the media to Chris Collinsworth gassing them up at the end of the game saying they have a bunch of players. All offseason I said the NFL isn't what you think it is and we've seen many teams already imploding.

The next few weeks will give us a better idea of whether they will make the playoffs or not. This will be their 2nd chance to beat up on mediocre teams which they should've done against LV and Pittsburgh. I will be shocked if they aren't at least 6-3 before they play at Tamp Bay.

On the flip side, I'd be pissed and concerned if I were a Bills fan. Maybe the GM will walk back his statement of not needing a WR as they were clearly lacking Sunday night.

that is a good point , Henderson hasn’t been lighting it up either.

First game indoors on a fast track, I'm thinking the NO game is when see Henderson rip off some big plays.

It would be a sight to see if our rbs take over a game and Drake doesn’t have to carry the offense on his back.

Agreed. This is why I'm clamoring for AJ Brown. I know the contract is an issue.. but if we could somehow make it work it gives us an immediate impact player who would see plenty of targets in a better offense scheme here with drake..than whatever Soriano is running now..

He would be here for the foreseeable future to play with Drake and be back with Vrabel.. it just feels like it needs to happen!! Imagine AJ deep down field and Diggs on the other side.

Other than a possible playoff game that is the last time the Pats will visit Highmark Stadium right? New place opens next season?

If so nice to finish there with a W.
We likely started there with a W too..

I loved playing there:

Not sure if its been mentioned but borregales has hit 7 straight fgs since missing his first attempt week 1. Has had 2 ‘clutch’ attempts, both over 50 yards and drillled both.

Hasn’t missed an xp either since those 2 in miami.
