I’m having a hard time determining why the Giants would do this trade. May not be the dominant force they were envisioning as a top 5 pick, but I was under the impression he played well in 2023 and has been playing well this year, and got hurt last year.

I’d take this in a heartbeat if it were offered, I just think it’s a pipe dream.

You may be right, but there has been discussion. Thibodeaux is behind Abdul Carter and Brian Burns, Giants are 1-5 and in a rebuild. Thibodeaux will probably gone after 2026, and the Giants aren't going anywhere in that timeframe.

I'm game for almost anything that will help us especially beyond just this season. Whatever we do I think the player should have at least a year beyond this season (no rentals) and I think we should probably hold onto our first rounder. Other than that I'm open for anything and hopeful that we do something.
