Pats really aren't that far from being .500 or better vs Buffalo in the regular season since Brady left. Cam Newton also literally fumbled away one game. The only real stinkers were #2, #4, and #5

It's been awhile since we've had a "FEEL GOOD WIN" as good as this one.

Did the Bills have some self-inflicted wounds....for sure, but we capitalized and earned a gritty road victory over the last remaining undefeated team in the league.

Great STUFF!!!!

I honestly didn't know Stef Diggs still had it in him, but he came up huge.

And the evolution of Drake Maye....this was a character win.....he made some big plays down teh stretch.

2020-2022 was a brutal stretch, only win was the wind game and the only loss that was really close was the one you mentioned. The other 4 they pretty much owned us. But the last 4 meetings since (not counting the joe milton game) have all been tight and we’ve split with them. For now their dominance over us is gone

Even in Brady's prime they were kind of a pest to play. Hopefully that's what we are to them now.

I like your positive spin, but we 1/5/25 was a glorified pre-season game. So if we exclude that going into last night we would have been 2-7 heading into the game. Now 3-7, great win!

Just had to look it up, The last punt by barringer went for 73 yards after a brutal 3 and out. Huge swing at that juncture
Barringer has a leg. He just needs to stop that 1 out of 10 shanking. Also speaking of kicking I was very impressed after Borrgales kicked the go ahead field goal to drop that kickoff kick on the 1 yard line. Two great kicks back to back that were very much needed.

While I understand its function, and have used it myself, I just wanna be forward and say: it is still annoying how this same theme makes it into every thread and invariably drags discourse in its direction because it becomes inflammatory or a petty argument (which seems to be the point of bringing it up at this point), which is always going to draw more posters to respond.

It's a dog whistle more than a genuine attempt at discussion.

The theme makes it into every thread IMO because, like it or not, Bill is a huge part of our football heritage, is still a big part of how we view football, and still shapes what the current product on the field looks like. Clearly Vrabel picked up a lot of what he does and what he likes from his time with Bill, our current executives are hugely influenced by their time with Bill, etc.

And as @Ian suggests, go ahead and hit that thread mute button on me and others if we annoy you. It's better than trying to brow-beat people into only talking about the things you want them to talk about the way you want them to talk about them. I use his blocking/ignoring/muting features all the time and my experience here is far better for it.

There were plenty of these last night, but Borregales was definitely a huge development. Hopefully we have our kicker

They had to stack the box to stop the run, and run blitz, and blitz to generate pressure. (That's another 'I told you so' from all last week.)

Bills defense sucks, and they got set up by a crafty, patient OC.

The bills were also gassed like hell. Conveniently the NFL took 3 TV timeouts when they were huffing and puffing. Two on defense and one on offense. Cook was sitting next to the fan looking like he just finished a marathon

Oh dear. They're not taking it well lol

He has a 53 and 52 yarders in his name already this young season: Andy B is alright in my book.

He’s been an upgrade over Godchaux, and I was a Godchaux defender for the most part other than the much too large salary. Tonga is only making $2m which may be extreme in the other direction.
Godchaux moves like a slug compared to Tonga. I don't see his signing as defensible in the face of the evidence on what you could have on the DL instead.
