Was just checking out the comments over on the Bills fan forum. After further review, apparently we didn't win the game last night, The Bills gave us the win with their poor play.

I was looking at stats and it's insane how overpoweringly dominant Maye has been. He is the offense

The run game is non existent .

Stevenson is our top running back and has 140 yards rushing and is 44 on the list and behind josh Allen who has 200 + yards . That's how bad our rushing has been.

I strongly feel we need to get a running back through trade or PS poaching. I am sure we can find someone equivalent to what Rham is doing.

No way rham is a patriot in 2026 and I hope rham proves me wrong .
I think Stevenson will ultimately turn it around and remain a contributor for the next couple of years.

That said, they need a true power back in a bad way. Stevenson plays more like a finesse back despite his size. Henderson is a speed back. Gibson is toast, and was very similar to Stevenson anyway. They don’t have anyone that can physically dominate another player and get a guaranteed one to two yards when you need it. But, that type of player is usually not that hard to find.

Stevenson is also behind Jalen hurts , Lamar, Herbert and even Baker Mayfield in rushing yards . That's how bad our run game is. We need to clean this up.

It reminds me a lot of the early dynasty with Antwoin Smith. He'd run it up the gut for 3 yard average. And it would open up the play-action pass for Brady to have success.

Also the refs.

Holy ****, they've been like a 12-13 win team for the last half-decade, and they're still crying about the damn refs.

I think it's 3 out of 4, right?

3 out of 5 now, 2 out of 4 meaningful games. The 2 games we lost were pretty tight also and turnovers played a big role in them. Been very even after the bills really had our # 2020-2022.

"Moral victory"?

A lot of the national media is saying that, too. I think the Pats need the "no one believes in us" chip on their shoulder.

Ravens being being 1-4 puts them out and that is huge. They were a lock. That opens it up for another non elite team. A team like ours.
Bengals were team fighting for a tier 2 spot that is now out.

AFCN is likely only to have 1 team in... Steelers. Browns, Bengals and Ravens are out.

AFCS is at most 2. Texans don't have it... Titans suck. But how much do you really believe in Indy or Jax having really solid record come the end of the year? Lawrence still hasn't improved but has a better cast. Colts have scored a ton of points vs some very bad teams. They've been hot... But why would i believe in Daniel Jones long term. These defense has been crap the last 3 years.. suddenly it is top 5? I don't buy that either. Did the Colts get that much better in the off season? I don't think so. I think this is one of those small sample size early starts that comes down to earth. They like us have a bit of a weak schedule... but i think they are a lot worse and lose to more bad teams.

I really think the AFCS sends only 1. One of the Jags or Indy will blow this early momentum. And they still need to play each other twice. If one team 0-2s the other they probably come in 9-8 at best.

So these leads a very possible 5 seeds for the AFCE and AFCW. The Raiders in the West are done. So that is a max of 3 spots they can take. Jets and Miami in the East are done. That leaves 2 spots open. Bills and Pats.

I think KC is a lock still. Bills are a lock of course.

Another way to think of it.. Pats vs Broncos vs Chargers vs Colts/Jags (whoever is worse). 3 of these teams will get in. Pats only need to be better than 1. And tonight KC plays the upstart Jags. They will probably smack them down to 3-2 right with us.
Great post. You hit on alot of importance here. I've said myself that with a week 14 bye it's crucial for us to try to stack up as many wins early on as possible. Like you mentioned 4 losses in the AFCN likely puts Ravens on the fringe.. LJ has a hamstring and with his abilities who knows how long that will sideline him.. gonzo was out what 6 weeks with his??

Burrow done for the season, Texas aren't a real threat IMO. Chargers IMO are frauds as well. I believe we can really take off here.. saints, titans and browns all winnable games and I'm not looking past any of them. We need all 3 of those wins.

Vrabel’s definitely going to want some get back against titans and drake can redeem himself from last season.

Here what i think we should try to do by the trade deadline.

1) try and pry AJ brown away from Philly. Drake will certainly find him on deep drags and 9 routes unlike hurts.

2) see if we could also trade for another edge rusher

If we can continue momentum players will want to come here.. Diggs is absolutely phenomenal.. he needs a proven guy on the outside to compliment him.

Hey! I care. Lol

Yeah and you used to be somebody but @TommyD4207 nailed it, thanks to all the self indulgent poo fling monkey BS you've inflicted on all of us you def qualify as nobody of consequence now

Yeah, we can free up that roster spot any time now. Get him the **** out of here.
Yeah Tommy how the **** is he on an NFL roster?.. doesn't he have any aisle to stock at home depot...

Bucs, Bills, Ravens if they get healthy by week 16...

That leaves three tough teams remaining on the schedule.

The Pats can't sleep on the lesser teams, and need to keep improving... but the path is clear.
8 more wins gets us to the magic number (11) for the playoffs. 10-7 is risky. We have a good chance of going 8-4 but it will be tough starting this week in New Orleans.

As far as I know, the Lowe cult still exists. Hell, the Sidy Sow cult still exists.

"B-but we need a backup left tackle" Good, go get another guy who can't ****ing play...but also won't false start on his ONE ****ING SNAP.

They played poorly because their WRs were getting blanketed down the field, if guys were open they wouldn't have played poorly.

When their guys are getting open of course Allen is gonna find them and have a big game, the Pats made them play below their usual level.

Had to bail early in 3Q. I thought I'd wake up to a 10-9 final score with either team prevailing. Looks like I missed a lot of fun.

Having just been through the rest of the GDT and this thread it sounds like this was a sort-of poor man's Squish the Fish game; a breakthrough trend changer that portends much.

The 1-4 Saints are tough?

All NFL teams are tough I guess, and you can't overlook any of them... but they have some of the worst offenses and defenses in the NFL.

The Pats have to focus on themselves and improving their level of execution. If they stay healthy and play mistake free they can beat anyone.

This offense is in a position to be smothered by the likes of the Broncos if we don't figure out the run game. I'm confident the OL will get better at run blocking, but I'd like to see more improvement game-by-game if possible.

Not having an emotional letdown after a big win is probably tougher than the Saints.

This team can't take any games for granted yet, we need to bank these next 2 games and get to 5-2 to really ice this Bills win as a huge season changing one don't wanna go down there and lay an egg.
