AJ Brown wants out of Philly? Clashing with lockeroom?

Mike will be calling in 3...2....1......

Probably, but I don't think Philly can seriously afford to trade him.
Check out that dead cap.

$89M dead cap for 2025?

That dead cap is if he were to be cut, its much less if he were traded.
It's still the whole cap hit + bonus for the year, team he's traded to would only pay the salary, and the Eagles are already up against the cap.

Now, *next* year, it's possible.

It wouldn't affect their cap this year, they would still be on the hook for the rest of his signing bonus but that would hit their cap next year, and the remainder of his options would come off the books for them opening up lots of space the following years. Cap wise there is really nothing preventing this trade, and it wouldn't really make a difference if it happened this year or in the offseason

Only BB would take Harry over him: Brown should have been ours from the Beginning. Better late than never I guess.

Interesting. I might have to try this on my wife. “Honey, if you rock my world daily I won’t have any reason (or stamina) to eye other women”
My wife legitimately says this to me lol. And then delivers

He’s a monster talent. He going to need to do more than quote the Bible on social media if he wants to shoot his way out of Philadelphia

I actually think his contract is very tradeable, because most of the big money is tied to option bonuses that haven’t been picked up yet. If he’s traded then those future option bonuses become the responsibility of the acquiring team. Actually makes him MORE likely to be traded so the Eagles can avoid having to pay his guaranteed option bonus in 2026 ($30M). If they keep him into next year then they’re on the hook for that.

Before the season started I was against for making a move like this. After four weeks of watching Drake and Josh grow together I’m all for trading for Brown. Drake Maye is the guy, I understand not every week is going to be great but he’s a legitimate franchise QB, time is now to surround him with talent.

Brown's young enough to be part of the solution. That's one of the rare cases where I'd be on board.

This has to happen if it’s not us it’s the Bills.
I’d give next years second or third or not.

I’d be delighted to be wrong, but I think a second or third for him is a pipe dream

I would love Him on Four year contract next Off-season WR would be all set.

A.J. Brown and S Diggs for at least a couple of years: Maye would be Elite in no time.

Also, as KC is proving a lack of weapons can make any QB look mortal
