You are taking this completely the wrong way.
I have never **** on Maye, I've been as big a supporter of his going back to the draft.
My point is it's a huge environment. Sunday night games always are, I've been to them live.
We are playing the gold standard of our division, and the gold standard this league has at QB.
It's easy for a young guy to get a little too amped up for that.
Please stop looking for something that isn't there.
He has given no reason to believe he has that issue.

By making that comment you are implying a flaw that has not shown up.
Why would your first instinct be to take a negative slant on the guy who is playing so well and has advanced far beyond what should be defects at this point?

I don't how much they'll use him now. But it's going be interesting to see how Pop works on the outsides: BB Said he had the ability: take that with a grain of salt. But the jury came in Pop sucks in the Slot.
There is no reason to play Douglass outside. Diggs playing more inside doesn’t mean he won’t play outside

And with that the Pop era is over....yes?

This was nice. It's been a while since we had this kind of game.

The offense is as efficient as a Japanese auto manufacturer, and the special teams are actually special...for good reasons.

Also looking forward to the Billdos. I don't know if we'll win, but I feel confident we'll be competitive and a win wouldn't shock me...a loss also won't hurt too much, as long as we are competitive.

But I really think we can win as long as we're mistake/turnover free. Maye vs Allen might just become a thing.

My point is Pop is useless in Slot: he's no threat there. Two of our Fours games he didn't come out with positive yards. I want our Offense to keep the Defense on their toes: they have no such fear with Pop.

So now you're telling me I'm implying something that are surely am not.
Getting over hyped for a big game (probably the biggest of his young career) is not implying a flaw. It's something that is real, something even the best athletes of all time have talked about.
I won't explain myself further, as again, you take something completely out of context and decide that's the way it is.

Marcus already has 202 punt return yds (7 returns). He had 362 leading the league in 2022 for his All Pro year, although others have gotten a fair bit more recently (including Marcus himself). Currently in the driver's seat for another AP year.

He won’t be more useful outside

Pop active - Chism *Inactive* posted identical stats. Telis me more about Chism than Pop.

“let's hope Maye keeps his level head and doesn't get caught up in trying to match Josh”
Surely implies that you expect him to be prone to do so.
It’s just a back handed way to criticize him, something “fans” on this board seem to love to do. Like you last week.

It implies nothing of the sort.
It implies something that could happen (and has happened to several great athletes), and my hope that it doesn't happen. It does not imply something I expect to happen, or something that he is more prone to than any other athlete competing in a big game.
"Like last week"? Not sure what that means.

A lot hinges on our ability to run the ball on Sunday. That is their weakness and ought to be one of our strengths.

ST’s was our only bright spot last year
Our Kickoff and Punt return groups have been good this year
Kudos to Jeremy Springer

So if I say I hope Vrabel doesn’t piss his pants and blow the game if he had to make a big decision, I’m not implying anything a lot Vrabel?
Why would I say that if I wasn’t concerned he might?

Gonzo played most of the game. That is very encouraging
They kept putting him out there even as it started getting out of hand. They treated him the same as other starters I thought maybe he should have come out a touch earlier than the rest.
