To answer #1: it will prove that Chism is better and Pop is the problem. Regarding #2 we have Jeremiah Webb and Jon Jiles on our Taxi squad. We wouldn't miss Poop he stinks.
Prove to who? You are asking for a transaction to deplete he roster so you can say you are right? Jesus.

The minute Chism gets' his shot: Poop Douglas is going to ask for his release and I would kindly grant him it.

I am still not sold on Chism. Look how good Henderson looked in the preseason compared to how he has played thus far in the regular season. People were talking about him being in the running for OROY.

So I am not sure Chism will ever become an NFL WR. He showed promise in the preseason, but I am not sure it will translate to the regular season.

Pop is Not Excelling is an Offense you think he should: he's not a Rookie. Houston he is the problem.

Douglas had 1200 yards on a crappy team his first two years in the league.

At minimum he would have trade value.

Cut him?
What a Sixth Rounder?? Just talking about Pop: his value just dropped to a conditional Seventh in 2027.

I said it yesterday... trade Pop for Meyers + any draft pick (or someone in that category).
~27-29yo, solid & reliable chain-moving slot/Z receiver, who can win 1 on 1, and understands the game.
Meyers would be perfect - he knows JMD and would be such a leap over Pop right now...
while still allowing Boutte & Diggs to get their targets, and we can start playing Chism in the slot for future.

McDaniels need to play S Diggs exclusively form the Slot: with K Boutte and Kyle Williams outside. Sprinkled in a little of E Chism. It's obvious the inaccurate Maye at times; does not like throwing to that midget no catch radius Pop.

You are way too emotional.
And you're way too confident: this Team is not a Slam dunk against any Team they look remotely close to. So the Panthers - Saints - Browns and Falcons are not gimmes against this Not! well Coached Team. The Microscope is hovering on Vrabel: there's a reason why Titans moved on. Vrabel's Coaching or lack thereof will be telling in these upcoming games: the honeymoon won't last forever.

Plenty of bad receivers produce stats on bad teams that are often down by a lot of points.

Douglas has done this on pretty bad teams.

Douglas has done this on pretty bad teams.

The Patriots were 28th in passing yards in 2023 and LAST in 2024.

So I don't see how being on a bad team benefited Douglas.

If anything his stats are more impressive.

PS I'm not defending Douglas play this year. Just pointing out suggesting to cut him is absurd.

Douglas is not too bright it's obvious.

This explains quite a bit. Just no football situational awareness and it is obvious watching him play. The play is even worse then it looks. Go back and watch the highlight. The ball was not thrown behind the sticks. He came back to the ball (for no reason) and ended up a yard behind the sticks. He could have just stayed where he was, caught the ball and fallen to the ground and they would have had the first. Ramsey left Pops to blitz and Drake made the perfect read and a perfect throw but Pop screwed it up all on his own. You need a smarter, more dependable player working in the slot. I would love to see what Chism can do.

You see the smile?? and Rham have more receiving yards than him on the young season. Pop really gets it: the gas face.

inexcusable. He comes back for the ball unnecessarily and doesn't go far enough on his initial pass route. Just a stupid football player. And though he comes back for the ball, just catch it, plant and go forward. Easy first down.
Situational Un-awareness he probably thought it was 3rd Down.

So you're saying it's all on Mayo: like BB didn't Draft a couple of those guys and couldn't develop them through his ten cents Coaching staff. You get what you pay for: of course he was making a cool $20Mill a year at the time. The BB Scouts couldn't even buy a four piece dinner at KFC: talk about balance.
Mayo didn't control any roster. Mayo was a bad coach but the long list of players let go were not his responsibility.

Peppers was reclaimed and made productive by that 10c coaching staff you ridicule. The defense played much better back then. Mack Wilson was also reclaimed and regained value in his career. as for the young guys, like Tyquan, he wasn't ready for prime time back then. That was obvious. But he was very young too. He was only 21 years old when we got him. Belichick didn't cut him. Then there's Jake Andrews, another guy who shouldn't have been cut. We have a need for a guy like him right now.
