Stevenson alone is 80% responsible for this loss.

That said, turning the ball over FIVE TIMES as a team is just pathetic. And you might as well count Douglas’ terrible effort on the final play as a turnover too.

Not what I expected from a Vrabel coached team.
The difference between this team and a Brady team is the mundane, boring, simple business of methodically doing what you're supposed to do in simple game and play situations. Not beating yourself, not being stupid. Who can or will instill this in today's Patriots? If it isn't Vrabel, then I don't know who.

I miss.......

Wow great comeback. You both admitted I am right and made an anachronistic attempt at an insult.
Actually, I made an equally absurd statement about you which was as impossible for me to know as for you to know I’m “rooting against them”.

But sure…I spend 3 hours watching on Sunday, few more during the week reading about them or on podcasts, buy merch, wear that merch, IN GEORGIA because I WANT them to suck.

You really are a strange bird.

Turnovers aren't a fluke, who recovers a fumble could be said to be random so if you put the ball on the ground 15 times and recover 12 of them that's a fluke and won't last.

Stevensons inability to hold onto the ball isn't a fluke it's a fatal flaw in his game that's been on show for a year and a half.

Tons better based on beating the Dolphins? If we go 3-0 against Carolina, New Orleans and Tennessee i'll give you that it's tonnes better and on the way to .500 season and big signs of improvement but we're a loss next week away from this being another top 10 picking season.
Turnovers absolutely are fluky. We won’t have 5 turnovers again.

2 fumbles lost in one game is a fluke. He had 14 in 58 games before today.

Tons better based upon football players and their play.
We are moving the ball significantly better than we have in years. We punted 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Maye is completing 73% of his passes, over 25 completions per game for 261 yards a game. In 23 and 24 we were under 64% complete and 178 yards a game.
The defense is better than 23/24 and already showing improvement and grasp of the new system.
The OL is substantially better than 23/24

If you can’t see this you either aren’t looking or dint understand what you are seeing
Cry over 1-2 all you want, the product on the field has improved a lot.

We need some wholesale changes: the culprits know where they are. But we'll see if Vrabel is watching the same players.
I think we got rid of Elliss today. That is a huge positive. Maybe we got rid of Pop too. We will see.

The contract was a fireable offense and even before he turned into a fumbling machine he was never worthy of being paid.

He's never been anything more than an Blount style hammer maybe not even as good and that's the type of player you'd pay 1.5m a year in todays NFL.

Would anyone else in the league even have guaranteed him 7m i doubt it? We gave him 17 million fully gtd which is completely crazy.
Don’t you ever compare him to Blount. Blount was MUCH better RB than Mondre.

Not really. I read your posts about the Patriots and it’s obvious. Why is the question but I think it’s because you would rather they lose so you can come on here and try to sound like an internet I told you so genius than have them win.
Whatever they reason, you take clear joy in coming on here and predicting doom and gloom and as soon as they lose you can wait to tell everyone you knew it.

You literally just posted that you can’t imagine they will beat Miami at home after beating them on the road, and that they are doomed to lose to all of the panthers, jets, giants, browns, falcons, bengals without burrow.

Was just gonna look that up. Crazy 5 turnovers. Happens once every 20 years or so? Lucky us to witness such an event today!!
It’s a long season, **** happens.

We have defense that looks like it might be mid strong

We have a second year QB with a rifle arm who is as good at throwing in the critical 12-20 yard area as any I’ve seen in a long time, who is competing 73% of his passes for 261 yards a game (which is probably top 5) who is showing a veteran understanding of reads and coverages.

The needle is pointing up, and I am not going to cry over losing a game we dominated because of turnovers, something that happens to all teams, good or bad. 1-2 is not a deep hole.

I mean, I'd do anything to make a big WR trade right now.
Trade a 3rd Pick for Meyers. Someone like that who can play slot and Z, and just knows how to convert 3rd downs.
Pop has not been a valuable piece. He's done nothing.
Yeah, but trade that 3rd or a 4th for DJ Moore instead.

Vrabel himself said they need Rhamondre after the game. Henderson is struggling with pass protection which is a liability and he isn’t quite breaking runs that we thought he would yet. He seems to go down rather easily.

And Gibson well he fumbled too.
I was at the game, Henderson is just noticeably small, like compared to Gibson when lined up on kick return, he looks like a slot WR. He needs to be in space, he's a much faster James White, not an inside the hash 20 carry a game guy

Most folks in GA hate the Falcons.

The joke was go Braves and take the Falcons with you.

Just putting this here
Imagine Maye playing pitch and catch with Tet.

And the will look much different when Gonzo come back.

I got a feeling that so many targets went to Pop and plays designed for him specifically to give him the chance to PROVE he deserves his role. He squandered that, so next week he can hit the bench and they can see how the young pup does instead.

That said, ideally neither Pop or Chism are on the field when fielding their best 3 receivers:
X: Hollins / Williams
Z: Boutte
F: Diggs

I agree and count 4.

At some point, Hollins will be the backup at all three positions, a very solid #4.
=======
Given the receiving abilities of our TE's, there is no need to even have Douglas or Chism active.

No an NFL teams doesn’t take a guy they have doubts about and dedicate a game to prove whether he belongs. It just doesn’t work that way. They did what they felt was the best opportunity to win, and where the ball is designed to go is based upon coverage not an experiment.

Hollins needs to go. The only way he ever gets the ball is when he is the route the defense gives away. Any WR can get open on the plays he does, and then do more with the ball.
We can’t have a WR getting 40 snaps a game and gaining less than 13 receiving yards per game.
