Hawkins has become pretty steady.
Dugger went through the Parcells rollercoaster to try to motivate a death row kind of year.
Pettus has shown up, and could build off a decent rookie year (he is the closest replica to Peppers)
Woodson will be steadily overtaking a lot of reps, and hopefully becomes DMac
Mapu - I'm still shocked is on the team. He must have had incriminating photos of Peppers assault

The dynamic that I’m curious about is the fact that Vrabel has gotten very icy with a few players in particular. Baker, now Peppers.

I’m hoping it’s a more positive refresh of the locker room: not a sign of a new toxicity.

That all depends on if we start off good or bad. It can go the toxic route if wins aren’t there after several weeks.

like what? There were no off field incidents, nothing unexpected. They just reconsidered for some football reason, which looks like a mistake that they hadn't hashed that out by cut-down day with a high profile veteran.

Well, at the time my reasoning was culture fit, older player, and the interest of using any cap savings for FA spend. Had nothing to do with scheme. Not sure those are the reasons for today's move.
