I don't believe that he killed himself.

You think Courtney did it?

Good, **** that guy.
Entitled piece of **** should have been rotting in jail.
I gave you what Reddit calls an angry upvote.

I wish I didn't feel that way, but if I'm being honest, I do.

His father shafted the people of Baltimore, but of course he's off the hook, capitalism you know.

So many ways he could have done so much better with all he was given, but all should be remembered for is blowing money on blow and other people's guitars.

His father had his faults, ( read the wiki review) but I can't blame him for leaving Baltimore in the middle of the night. The state was threatening to take the team by eminent domain to prevent any kind of move. If the government threatens your property rights and gives you pennies on the dollar, usually after a long fight, you do what you can to protect it. Granted no team had ever been seized before but who wants to fight city hall.
I watched it first hand as a young child, the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) seized a whole street of businesses in Roxbury by eminent domain (one of them was my father's) and leveled it to build the Southwest Expressway. You never heard of the Southwest Expressway? That's because it was never built!! The businesses had to fight for years to get fair compensation,
If I were in Irsay Sr's shoes I would have done the same thing to protect my property. Until you have lived it ( and the Supreme Court's Kelo v New London decision on eminent domain is a disgusting upholding of seizing of private property) you can't appreciate how awful it is for people involved.

I don't think Jimmy Irsay was the nicest of people but the man definitely had demons in his life off and on. Guess maybe his past lifestyle caught up with him. RIP.

That's one way to look at it.

Another way to look at it is he just liked to party, and had the means to do it at a very high level.

A key ingredient being armies of lawyers to cover up his misdeeds, and a powerful league that will use all its resources to make sure that one of their princes is protected no matter what he does.

And in return the Commish could always count on Jimmy's vote

Stunning new details surrounding Jim Irsay's death in May ... the legendary Indianapolis Colts owner reportedly passed away at the Beverly Hills Hotel while under the care of an addiction specialist.

There's nothing 'stunning' about Junkie Jimmy being under the daily (ahem) "care" of his own personal prescription writer
The only stunning part is he should have died in prison rather than a Beverly Hills Hotel.

Pat Mcfee had an interesting perspective at the opening of his show. Gives you a little different look at him.

You might want to elaborate on that a bit more. You kind of left us hanging there.

Yeah especially since I'm not going to ever, Ever watch or listen to that meat-head's programming anyway.

A billionaire, never mind one attached to Big Shield, in prison? Now that would truly be stunning

Damn, he was only 65? There's no right time to do ketamine but doing it at that age after years of abuse.

In the last few years, he would talk so slow, he made Bob Kraft sound like an auctioneer... and Bob's 20 years older. Really sad.

You'd think people who were fans of a team whose billionaire owner got a blowie in a strip mall massage parlor wouldn't speculate about rich people's behavior, but here we are.
