OT: Josh Simmons steal of draft

And you also never explained how your hypothetical trade down to 15-20 for Simmons was supposed to work with zero trades up for 23 consecutive picks.
I wouldn't even touch Simmons at 20 with a patella injury. Second round yes but not higher IMO.

We're seeing Cole Strange go through this and that's a big reason why he might not be long for this team.

Either way it's not a case where the Pats passed on the "obviously better" player. Taking a guy with a patella injury is a not a minor risk. Campbell isn't perfect but I'm happy with what I've seen so far.

Not sure why It always has to turn personal on this thread and on this board?
I started the post to stimulate some discussion.
If you do not like it move on or use the mute button.

Some posters on this board get some kind of perverse thrill by insulting and denigrating others with different opinions.
It seems like some use this board as a way to offload frustrations in their personal life rather than discussing topics in a levelheaded and non inflammatory manner.
For those who keep the discussion focused on the topic without hurling insults- thank you! You make this a great forum.
For the others…use that mute button.
You stimulated discussion very well.
If you do not like it just move on or use the mute button.

Some posters seem to get a perverse thrill by constantly criticizing, insulting, and denigrating the team this board roots for, and can’t understand why they’re found tiresome in the opinion of fans who actually like the team. Apparently such posters think their posts are levelheaded non-inflammatory discussion.

I could go on, but beating dead horses is tiresome, as this thread already amply demonstrates.

Unless you're a Chiefs fan, I doubt you give a rat's ass about Simmons beyond using his very questionable example to prematurely dump on the Patriots. You chose to be negative and provocative at a time when most of us feel a renewed sense of hope that after two long years of crap football, New England shows signs of turning things around. The blowback you decry is hardly surprising.

Remember that rookie OT the Chiefs drafted last season in the 2nd round the media loved? He ended up being terrible and got benched. Then they have that RT I can't stand in Jawaan Taylor that jumps early before every snap.

Now we're hearing about Simmons. We'll see when the games are for real who's for real or not.

Good bye, troll!
Sticks and Stones.
I guess you are another who is so traumatized by different opinions that you have to break out the troll insult.
Can’t discuss without resorting to name calling.
I am honored to be muted by you.

Coping Mechanisms:. In some cases, individuals may develop a defense mechanism where they actively reject others to protect themselves from potential rejection or hurt. This can be a learned behavior in response to past experiences of feeling unliked or misunderstood.

In this week's Check the Mic with Sam and Steve they called out Simmons as being a steal in the draft and looking like an excellent starting LT in KC for years to come.

Nice, of all the first round QBs, I liked the looks of Dart the most from what I read in his reports. Really liked Zabel, too.

Same Dart was first QB on my board, he has the right personality mentality for it. If ton could put his brashness in Mayes Body.

You freaking thin skinned millennials. Back in my day being a man meant being able to be told something you didn't want to hear without whining about "name calling."

Anybody using ‘Sam Ban’ is from my era & definitely NOT a millennial.

Otherwise I agree.

Also, at this point Millennials are like 45 years old. I think we can stop referring to them like they're naive children.

This was a few years back. So adjust the age lol.

It’s not their age that has us referring to them like that.
