Let the record say that Ian’s article on the team mentions the phrase “question mark” repeatedly about the interior OL. And it’s Aug 21. Very Jets-like.

Let me clarify at LG: Sidy Sow>Cole Strange>Ben Brown.

Let’s right the ship.

Put Sidy Sow at LG, his best position. Let center be an open competition. Bradbury can’t pass block well. Ben Brown can’t run block well. So Strange or Wilson should be the starter at center.

My crystal ball: Campbell-Sow-Wilson-Onwenu-Grandpa Go DowntoIR Moses
I think these 3 are backups and 1 or 2 wont even make the team.

As to center they all have their issues.
As you said one sucks against run and one against the pass. Strange isn't the best at actually snapping. And Wilson isn't quite ready to make the line calls.

I think that leaves us with the most obvious combo of Campbell - Wilson - Bradbury - Onwenwu - Moses to start. The depth at tackle I think is set but at IOL I could see it shaking out in many ways including a good possibility we hit the waivers or trade.

I hope he pays you, at least.

This doesn’t seem complicated. The top 7 are Campbell, Wilson, Brown, Bradbury, Onwenu, Moses, and Bryant. #8 and 9 are Lowe and Strange. Against the Vikings, they subbed Sow in all by himself, which makes him #10, then Jacobs by himself as #11. Then everybody but Jacobs left, replaced by Wallace, Lindstrom, LRobinson, and Conley.

If they keep 9, then it’s fairly obvious that It’s the 9 who played in the first quarter plus Moses (who was held out). If they keep 10, then Sow seems like the top candidate. Maybe basing things on the order that they enter the game is a little flawed in that the competition for starting LG could have pushed back Wallace getting into the game. He seems like the only other realistic candidate for the 10th spot.

It's not complicated. Who said that it was?

1) We now have the top 7 (posters may not include Brown but the team seem to be pretty clear in their messaging)

2) #8 is the #4 OT: Lowe or Jacobs

3) BACKUP IOL (pick 1 or 2)
Strange
Sow
Wallace

with Sow possibly going to the IR on Cut-down Day
===============
MY SUGGESTIONS
Make a decision regarding Strange.
If Strange is staying, put Sow on IR and give Wallace a few more weeks of practice (and have him as injury insurance)

the complicated part is who might have reached their ceiling, such as Jacobs or Lowe, while perhaps Sow or Wallace might have room to grow, and pass Lowe or Jacobs ceiling.

???
FIRST: We need at least 9 OL's on the 53
============================

So, the complication is that if the tackles have reached their ceiling of being a backup, we should cut them and have no #4 OT and carry an additional OG instead?
====
Allow me to try to be more clear

#8 OL: DO WE WANT TO CARRY A 4TH OT
If so, we need to choose between Lowe and Jacobs.

#9 OL: WHO DO WE WANT AS THE BACKUP LG?
Strange, Sow and Wallace are the choices.

#10 OL: DO WE WANT ANOTHER BACKUP IOL (a 6th)
Strange, Sow, Wallace and even Robinson are the choices.

After watching the game tonight, I'm officially Off the Sidy the Sow bandwagon. He was terrible, again, at RG (he again took Zero snaps at LG, his more-natural position) but it's not like he's never played RG before either.

I don't know what the **** they're gonna do at Center & LG - Bradbury & Wilson I suppose - but neither those two nor any of the other IOLmen besides Onemenu give me the warm & fuzzies...

I like some of the things Vrabel has done for sure, but he has watched this interior ol situation day in day out. He's seen the same things we've seen. I saw a look of utter disgust on his face tonight after the Strange penalty to take us off the 1 and goal line. No one was really doing any better on the depth chart.

Why has he held pat week after week? None of these interior back ups are NFL caliber practice squad players, let alone back ups. There was mention of Wallace having a good night, but where has he been before tonight? I don't buy him.

Personally I think not getting someone in here by free agency or trade to at least be a competent backup or spot starter is arguably a sign of gross Incompetence or willful negligence. It is so glaringly obvious they can and relatively easily could do better than this if they had the will to pull the trigger.

I have found not 1 fan, commentator, prognosticator or analysis who has indicated they believe the pats o line depth is even adequate. What the hell is Vrabel waiting for?

Cut-Down Day, I hope... or by the day after Week 1 at the latest.

If Ben Brown starts at LG at the season’s opener and Garrett Bradbury at center, it’s going to be a frustrating season. Just saying.

Sidy Sow will play for someone…at LG. Looks Lost in Space on the right side.

Biggest disappointment: Douggie Marrone. Not keeping Strange at LG, keeping it simple with rookie Jared Wilson just at center, and putting Sow back to the side where he played five years in college and as a rookie and looked100X better.

Time for a trade? For LG.

Center will be mixed bag until Jared Wilson starts there.

Saints part with failed tackle turned LG Trevor Penning for Sidy Sow and Javon Baker? Hell, throw in Cole Strange while we’re at it.

So we have two LGs in first round Cole Strange and third round Sidy Sow.

Then we put in a rookie with only one year of college starting experience—at center—as the starter at LG.

And we’re going to roll out Ben Brown as our starter?

WTF are you doing, Doug Marrone?

Did anyone else notice how well the Giants second string OL played? Who’s their coach?

Biggest disappointment after Eliot Wolf has got to be Doug Marrone. And I had high hopes for him.

Bring back Cole Popovich! It’s not looking good with the interior.

And if Grandpa Moses goes down to IR, and Onwenu moves out to RT since Bryant is too green, who exactly is the RG? Am I an idiot for not knowing?

A lot of Oline players shouldn’t be buying any real estate or making plans past this week here.

I’m going with my previous prediction we see at least 3 new O line players brought in on the 53.

Too late for that.

Bags are already packed at Motel 6.

Both are better than Siddy Sow Sow and Cold Strange... what does that tell you??

Yeah, Amazon's seasonal hiring is going to start soon.
But at LG, his natural position, I saw an adequate starter. When he was a rookie.

Au revoir, Sidy. First cut.
