Game Day Thread 2025 Preseason week 3: Giants game

Baker has a chance at a roster spot but he really needs the reps. If he plays I would guess he plays a lot. He has potential but still needs a lot of refinement in his route running. Not too bothered by that though since the system is probably very hard for him to grasp. At least he’s looked pretty good on special teams.

not necessarily, he was banged up - and they may not want to feature him so they can keep him on the PS. I mean, he's done nothing to show he's worth anything on the waiver wire. And, he may be worth a PS spot to keep developing.

Jiles, Webb, Scott Jr, Fotheringham & Jennings at RB.

The only 3 interesting things to see will be:
1. if the new WR Lutz or RB Bernard get involved and show anything
2. if Dippre even gets snaps at TE
3. if Conley, Robinson x2, or Sow make a "push for PS" amidst the scrubs at OL

What could have been? Had the Pats lost that ill fated game 17 they could have drafted Abdul Carter. Poised to become the best lineman in the NFL. Can Campbell handle him? We won't find out till the regular. Not sure Carter will play tonight.

I wonder how many of the 4 make it. So peppers, hawkins , woodson appear to be locks. I really haven’t heard much on epps, mapu, or pettus all preseason

While that will be funny, I’m a little disappointed that this is a national broadcast. Zolak and the McCourties actually did a decent job of identifying who was in, and who made good/bad plays as well. I can’t imagine 80 year old Al Michaels is going to know or care about players 75-90 on the Patriots roster.
