Duggar was is and always will be terrible in pass coverage !!!
If your tua or any opposing qb, and it is 3rd and 25, you find Duggar and throw to whoever Duggar is covering to pick up an easy 25!!!!!
He was late in coverage against the backups on Saturday and the only thing that bailed him out from a big passing play was the WR dropping the pass.
This might become a Lawyer Milloy 2003 situation....Take a cut or take a bus.
The problem is he doesn't have to do anything. The cap hit is $14M if he doesn't cooperate. I think he should because whatever the Pats would be willing to give him would be more than the open market. No team wanted him when he was on the transition tag.

I wonder if he is playing safety or safety/LB - Hybrid?
Yeah, that's what I thought his future was. As a LB. Some team will probably use him in just that way if he's cut.

BTW, what was the former HC doing with those picks? Are we now allowed to question his very flawed decision making? Or do I need to let it go?
Let it go.

If want to whine about ancient history some really bad **** happened before the Roman Empire fell. That guy Nero was a nut case. Lead in his wine instead of lead in his pants.

Spotrac says his 2025 salary is fully guaranteed. So he has no reason to care about that.

Let it go. That was two regimes ago, no? Our hall of fame coach went off the rails into a very young woman's arms. Not our problem anymore.

UPDATE: Fully guaranteed means fully guaranteed? Who was the fool..,

At least it wasn’t Belichick.

Bill was fired in January 2024.

Dugger signed April 9, 2024 according to Over The Cap.

So fire the fool responsible. Eliot, I'm looking at you, Baby Face.

BB wouldn't have signed him to that idiotic contract. That's not his style.

I guess I was semi right that Dugger doesn't have to cooperate. Damn!

I'm shocked he's back. All of the moves backfired on him.

Let it go.

Kyle Dugger had a Pro Bowl worthy season in his second year.

So, I'm not sure why we're asking this question. Sometimes players don't fit the scheme.

This is Kyle Dugger 2 years ago:

I don't understand the lack of respect for Strange. He played injured when we were desperate for oline. I get people are upset by where he was drafted, but he's done everything and more that was asked of him.
Agreed. But Strange had a bad injury and might not be the same now. That is all I can think. Strange, Duggar, and Jennings are on the bubble it would appear.

Looking like a trade/cut candidate. Some of those deals handed out last year are regrettable. On the flip side it seems to mean good things for Woodson.

Agreed and Hawkins as well. Who has had a great camp and is a starter next to peppers. Dugger could go to another team and thrive

That same 20-20 guy will be complaining about being thin at SS the day after we move Dugger.
I think Vrabel does the right thing by Dugger and trades himself to a place of his choosing. He's still a good player but likely not a scheme fit. In a perfect NFL world you would have liked peppers, Dugger and Woodson to be the trio..

I meant more from fans about the sacrifices, not in terms of current roster spots.

When you don't understand...the first question you should ask yourself is 'Was this guy drafted by Belichick'. If he was...then you can start to understand.
