Phil Perry needs to STFU, because Diggs may be many things, but the guy is super dedicated to his craft. He’s just upset that he was chastised by #50.
Phil's trying to standout now that his meatshield Tom Curran is exclusively a studio guy now.

We should also be realistic about Maye. He was drafted young and raw with very high upside. Maye as a finished product likely is still a year or two away.
Not to beat the Josh Allen comp’s into the ground, but this is also what was seen from him. Very raw in 18. His 19 year was very promising, but he was still pretty reckless. This feels like this is where Maye is now. Next year we may get the polished product.

I don’t even really care that much if Diggs in fact is being a little difficult. To me that shows that he still has a chip on his shoulder, an attitude that he has something to prove, he’s better than the other WR’s and can back that up. If the players respect him…then all good.

Or maybe this year. It’s his 4th new offense in 4 years. He has better line play, better weapons and real coaching. The run game should be solid with some dynamic plays sprinkled in. I believe he will ascend faster this year than some others think.

i.e.: Can't be any worse than last year.

wide receiver competition from what I observed thus far:
1.) diggs can get open in a phone booth!!! #1 receiver for us by a mile.
2.) hollins - JAG, but can block on running plays.
3.) boutte - dr jeckyl and Mr Hyde. His motor runs hot or cold!!! No in between. Lacks courage!!!
4.) Williams - has some route running skill, but stone hands! He needs to look the ball in and not worry about being hit!!!!
5.) baker - JAG
6.) chism - slow slower and slowest! Watching him run a route is like watching grass grow!!! Great hands though!!!!
Agreed on Diggs OJ, but I feel you may have to revise your take on Boutte.. the guys been one the best wr all camp and had made some of the biggest plays outside of Henderson.. Boutte is clutch, fights for the ball and has become a real factor in the offense ubder Josh.. Diggs, Pop and Boutte have been the most consistent out of all the wrs..

Agreed. I don’t understand the “lacks courage” comment at all.

What kind of crap is Perry stirring?

Doesn't really seem like his normal behavior to stir things up. But I also don't buy that there is a problem was Diggs/Diggs camp just screwing with him and he bought it?

Agreed. They are searching for something that doesn't exist, every word, sentence they take and twist to try to fit a journalism point.

Gone are days when media reported the news. Nowadays everyone has an agenda and are looking for a controversial slant.

Yes, all these different outlets, podcast, all compete for views, clicks and ratings.

I would keep Dugger because of the salary cap implications; but it might be starting to become a numbers game against him now...

I would also keep Strange69 because I'm really not a fan of starting two rookies on the left side of the OL with their particular histories...

Prediction: both are gone before Week 1.
Agreed on both points.. cutting Dugger they would be eating 14 million, I truly believe Vrabel likes Dugger and wants him to figure out what he needs to figure out.. Cleary the ankle has him comprised..he's best suited close the LOS where he's more impactful. Strange specifically for depth purposes..however with Wilson being out the other day and Benny brown got the start over Stranger...
