Going to be a light news day for the home town heroes...

Today is a travel day, heading to Minnesota for joint a joint practice prior to Saturdays Exhibition Game 2 vs the Vikings... Don't know if there is one day of joint practices or two... Edit: there are 2 joint practices ... Ty @Triumph

I think Minnesota was (is?) a better team than Washington, so we are going to get a better look at our team...

Things that interest me ... Brian Flores defense... Jonathan Allen, Javon Hargrave, Andrew Van Ginkle & Jonathan Greenard is a pretty good front for the defense vs our OL, specifically the left side rookies and the unsettled center position...

Justin Jefferson vs the defensive backfield... Though I don't think Gonzo will be out there... so it will be a good look at our depth... JJ McCarthy hasn't shown much, so Jeffersons effectiveness may be blunted...

anything else that piques ones curosity? what will you be looking at/for ?

Thanks. But when the first clause in the article has an error (“The Patriots dialed down the intensity Tuesday…,”), it’s hard to trust the facts on the rest of the items he lists.
Yeah, I saw that and the writer clearly meant " Monday". And, the link is from the Patriots official website. And, makes no sense traveling this early to only practice 1 day when the game is 4 days away.

Pats Pulpit confirmed its two days...
Preview
The Patriots will be off the practice fields Tuesday as they travel to Minnesota for a pair of joint practices on Wednesday and Thursday. Pats Pulpit will provide live coverage both days.

I still don't understand why Washington only did 1 joint practice. Maybe it was just a timing crunch.

the game was on friday... so wednesday joint practice... thursday walk through / day of rest... friday game... that would be my guess...

They also confirmed that Maye is struggling.

That would be Mark Morse from this website, Patsfans.com... and Maye has been uneven, no doubt... hope things click sooner rather than later... he's got talent, but also a bit of wtf-itis when it comes to decision making... just needs to put it all together...

Pape,

What's going on ?....I would have thought you would have had at least a seat on the plane to Minnesota.

OL and don't put the ball in jeopardy.

I'm looking forward to hearing the reports. Here's what I'm looking for:
  • I'm hoping to see Maye and Dobbs bounce back.
  • I'd like to see the kickers get back to making all their kicks.
  • I want to see how the Oline continues to grow and who is going to step up and take the backup roster spots on Oline.
  • I want to see if Dugger steps up or continues his downward trend.

I'm anticipating a wake up call Saturday. Too much hype and excitement over the Washington game. Back down to earth this week. That's not a bad thing. Time to get serious. Still to early to panic over offense. Want to see what the starting defense can do.

I’ve read an article that teams have been reducing joint practices from 2 days to 1 day because there tend to be a lot more fights the 2nd day which messes up the plans and routines, and so teams think they can accomplish more with just another team practice.
