Joker looks great! Heaven must have a heckuva health spa...

Is Aaron Rodgers this washed up or not trying? The comments on this is pretty funny.

I have heard a few reports out of Pittsburgh that Rodgers and the offense have been awful this preseason. I mean the Patriots offense getting crushed by the Eagles in the scrimmage last summer bad.

Rodgers is probably only coming back for a retirement tour season. I don't think his heart is in it. He wants the media and fans to gush over him for his last season.

Philly fleeced the Raiders. Bennett is an ascending CB. Very good player.

Don't we have a Thomas Booker-type somewhere we could've given the Faiduhs?

Way to be asleep at the wheel Elliot, you ****ing stiff.

Slater carted off, just signed record deal last week as LT for Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers star left tackle Rashawn Slater was carted off the practice field Thursday after suffering an apparent left leg injury.

Slater, who became the highest paid offensive lineman in NFL history when he signed a four-year extension a week ago, threw his helmet as the cart left the field. The cart came to a stop near the entrance to The Bolt, the Chargers’ facility. Slater slammed his hand on the cart and buried his head in his hands. A trainer put a towel over his head before two trainers helped Slater inside. Slater could not put any weight on his left leg.
On the play, Slater was aligned at left tackle in a modified 11-on-11 period. There were only three offensive linemen at the line of scrimmage. As quarterback Justin Herbert took the snap, Slater dropped into his pass protection set. A player appeared to fall into his left leg, and Slater went down.
Trainers worked on Slater for two minutes, and the cart came out almost immediately thereafter. As Slater was helped onto the cart, teammates gathered to console him.

He just signed a massive extension. Awful.

Damn that sucks. Good thing he signed the deal.

Yep.

Just as Bobby Orr should be part-owner of the Ruins, Tom Brady should be part-owner of the NEP.
I heard it was Bobbies agent, maybe that's BS, I'll never know.
Best fkn player I ever saw, he made me want to play.

It's not BS. It was Orr's agent. A POS MOFO by the name of Alan Eagleson. Orr was offered an 18% interest in the Bruins at the time.. Eagleson turned it down because he, as the agent, would get none of that.

Russ Conway of the Lawrence Eagle Tribune broke the story in 1991 and caused the downfall of Eagleson. It came out that Eagleson as an NHLPA Bigwig worked with others and the owners to keep player contracts low.er than they should have been.

Eagleson screwed over the likes of Orr, Middleton and others.. One story came out how Middleton was forced to take out loans against his own contract because of Eagleson.

These players are getting paid way to much, only to get injured. This is why NFL's rating have fluctuated over the years and it will continue that way. Too many injuries and the talent pool has taken a nosedive.

By the way, the Chargers are screwed. An already bad roster took a major hit.
