Why do Sam's opinions cause so much angst? Opinion's are like assholes, everyone has one. Sticks and stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me. Why all the vitriol towards Sam for saying what he thinks?

Speaking only for me I get really tired of Sam searching for anything he can turn into a negative and venting it here. Same goes for the Captain and a number of others. Most I have already put on ignore, and that’s going to be the next step with Sam as well. It’s the same reason I no longer listen to Boston Sports radio, or read their papers. Criticism is fine, and leads to good debates, but constant carping sucks.

If we take the "Bold prediction" thread, of course Sam defaults to a negative prediction. If you routinely post negatives without much thought, what value does that add? Same can be said for people that post nothing but "we're the best, we're back" comments.
