OT: Josh Simmons steal of draft

I would gladly be wrong 100% of the time if it made the Pats better. I wanted the Pats to draft David Terrell, and was hugely disappointed when they took Seymour. I may have been off the mark on that one, slightly
You and Ron Borges.

Sam should take his misery to the Chefs.

Why do Sam's opinions cause so much angst? Opinion's are like assholes, everyone has one. Sticks and stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me. Why all the vitriol towards Sam for saying what he thinks?

Speaking only for me I get really tired of Sam searching for anything he can turn into a negative and venting it here. Same goes for the Captain and a number of others. Most I have already put on ignore, and that’s going to be the next step with Sam as well. It’s the same reason I no longer listen to Boston Sports radio, or read their papers. Criticism is fine, and leads to good debates, but constant carping sucks.

If you can not handle it, put them on ignore.

You asked, he answered. I can easily have unintelligent talks with lots of neighbourhood folks or coworkers about football, the hope is posting on a football forum the back and forth will be a little more insightful. If we take the "Bold prediction" thread, of course Sam defaults to a negative prediction. If you routinely post negatives without much thought, what value does that add? Same can be said for people that post nothing but "we're the best, we're back" comments. Warranted negativity is fine, but when it's nothing but negative all the time without much if any premise, it gets old fast.

A negative prediction is as bold as a positive prediction, sometimes bolder.

A negative prediction has no less value than a positive prediction. They are both predictions.

It's not bolder coming from Sam, it's predictable. One would think if you frequent a football forum, you're interested in discussing football, not putting a negative spin on every single thing you post, warranted or not.

Sam's consistent negative spin is no different than a consistent positive spin. They are both spins.
