Already placed my bet, Pat’s represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. +4800

Placed this bet on the 49ers in 2019 and it paid off. Don’t need them to win the SB, just get there. I want to be able to enjoy the game.

That is bold. Would be great for all of us if you're right.

Vrabel makes the vest so popular that they're selling gameday "Vrabel Vests" by the end of the season.

I am just stating facts, which may be a disappointment for many. Simmons has reportedly looked all world so far in training camp.
Campbell is a good guy and hard worker but is not a dominant LT and so far in TC has been OK.
It is what it is

You are right, it is what it is. And what it is glowing reports from the KC media on Simmons in TRAINING CAMP. The same people that posted glowing reports on Suamataia last camp who went on to have an atrocious rookie season.

Your point is fair. We will see during regular season. The thread was about BOLD predictions.
Bold predictions requiring taking guesses based on limited data.
Surprised at how upset people on this board get about a guess...that is all it is ...a guess

I predict that between Farmer and Pharms somebody with a microphone will dub our D-line backups "Big Pharmer." I also predict that if they're not the backups we have bigger problems than their nicknames.

State, Sam Bam and Captain Stone finally stop posting.

It's bold but i consider it possible. The Pats will probably end up in the top half of the league all things considered. I think one thing people often forget about when making these bets is the ceiling of a team.

For instance on average most people will say certain teams are better and more likely to have a higher record than the Pats. And i think they are. But look at the Bengals. Some would argue they are a better team. They have better super bowl odds because of it. But in reality that isn't the way it works. It's not about how good you are on average as how high your ceiling is. The Pats have an incredibly high ceiling. One of the highest in the league.

If every big thing goes right for them, they will become a very dangerous team. Their OL can go from the worst in the league to upper mid this year if Campbell and Wilson work out (Along with Onwenu having a nice come back year)

If Diggs bounces back well by late in the year he can be a top 10-15 WR. Add in Williams figuring it out by the end of the year and really producing along with their depth and suddenly their WRs aren't bad at all. Henderson stays healthy and he's electric. The TEs will do their thing and be solid contibutors. This can become a very respectable offense.

On defense they have a chance to have arguably the best secondary in the league. Top 3 anyway. if Barmore/Williams and the rest of the front work out they will be able to generate a lot of pressure.

This team, (and i mean this sincerely with no fan glass) if everything falls there way can go toe to toe with the top of the league. They probably can't upset more than 1 of the true elites in a row. But they don't need to upset more than 1 to make the super bowl if things go their way.

Pats lose week 1
They have no shot...

Keion White records 12 sacks

I need to see the preseason first. But as of right now:

Pats:
Pats sweep Buffalo and win the division with 11 wins.

Rest of the NFL:
49ers miss the playoffs and Shanahan/Lynch are fired.
KC barely makes the playoffs and is a Wild Card exit.
Bills don't make it past the Wild Card.
Dolphins don't make the playoffs and McDaniel is fired. Team continues to get blown up with Hill being traded.
There will be another HC that gets fired after year one.

Donks will win the division. I think someone else already posted this but wanted to jump on that bandwagon too.

Jared Wilson makes the pro bowl
Henderson if healthy during the last half of the season finishes that run as a top 10 fantasy back.
Milton Williams makes the pro bowl
Vrabel wins coach of the year
Pats make final 8.

Milton Williams at least Pro Bowl - maybe All Pro.
Henderson Pro Bowl, following a 1000 yds rushing season.
