The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Singbabysweeney

...at least there is only a 20yr age difference between those two.

He used his thumb on her? That's kinky.

I liked these comments from Facebook:

"Tom Brady already has everything. If he gets Sydney Sweeney he will become too powerful and may be our only chance of beating AI."

"Disgusting! She needs to stop using her youthful good looks to take advantage of this poor old man."

"What does he see in her?"

"Wow! A rich, famous athlete is interested in a hot famous chick that’s younger than him. Absolutely unheard of!"

"Works out for both. Daddy issues and midlife fling."

"Yeah, but he 'plays' like he’s 27, remember? And it’s not like she needs the attention. She’s all over TV and media all the time anyway, so if she does go out with him it’s because she genuinely likes him I would think."

"And if they should ever end up one of those luxury suites at The Gritti Palace and do what comes naturally to healthy people in a romantic, world class setting like Venice, I think a rip in space-time is inevitable. The fabric of the cosmos isn't built to withstand a force that strong. All of creation could wink out of existence. I'm not sure. The science isn't settled because no law of physics ever took Brady and Sweeney into account. Their attractiveness can't be measured."

Am I the only one who has never heard of her?

Of course, I am not a TV or movie watcher, if that is where she is known.

Pretty much.

I'm not up on a lot of celebrity stuff myself, but she's everywhere. Sweeney arguably is the hottest starlet going, known for her nude scenes on HBO series "Euphoria."

To briefly interrupt your trashing of BB, this was in the TarHeelsWire on Facebook.

"Gavin Blackwell, who played his first four collegiate seasons at UNC, had an opportunity to learn from Belichick for a few months. Now on FSU, Blackwell praised his former head coach, despite never suiting up for him.

"He was great," Blackwell said. "Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about Coach (Bill) Belichick. He loves football. Everything you see online and stuff like that, I would kind of say the media portrays it a little bit differently than what it is inside the building. He loves his players; he loves his coaches and he’s all about ball. He kind of brought more of an NFL aspect to college and that’s kind of what they’re running there. But himself, he’s down-to-earth dude, not a big-headed guy. You can go up to him, have a conversation, talk ball with him. He loves that type of stuff and when you show that you’re interested, he’s gonna make sure he gives you that same respect and try to help you as much as he can. He’s got eight Super Bowls. Great dude, wish them the best."

I hope there will be no debate about Sydney vs Bunny.

I think that is a pretty clear one.

This was a LOL read for me - as Fox Sports gets down in the weeds of their Marvel-esque "What If" scenario in the realm of "What if the Pats hadn't fired Belichick."

While it makes for a fun article, they are giving Belichick a bit too much credit as he's not exactly been omniscient as a de facto GM - if he was he'd still be here.

My main takeaway is that even if you like these imaginary BB moves, we'd still probably have Jordan Hudson as our OL coach or something like that by now!

And I think everyone here would agree that all of those sentiments are 100% correct. Despite his gruff media appearances from what I hear he's personable and takes interest in people in general. Really seems like a decent human.

I'm not rooting against the guy - honestly I feel ripped off that he may turn his back on Shula's record. And everyone will be all over him after what will probably be another mediocre season for UNC given the existing talent

And beyond football, if Blackwell or any guy on the team ever finds themselves dating a 70 year old and needs some relationship advice, they don't need to look far!

Well, they sure as hell wouldn’t have Drake Maye.

I'd take this imaginary GM Belichick anyday over the real one and judging by the fact he is out of the NFL right now - so would every other team.
