Netflix is releasing a documentary about Rob Gronkowski titled "Gronk Spike: 80 Touchdowns of Dominance". It will premiere on August 15th and will feature an in-depth look at his record-breaking 80 touchdowns with the New England Patriots, as well as behind-the-scenes footage.

You see Gronk and Edelman doing a podcast, and it is clear to me who is carrying the show and who is along for the ride.

In the media, Gronk just doesn’t have the “it” factor, but on the field there was no better TE ever.

I'll be watching. Most domimant TE I've ever seen play. I never thought the Pats were going to score a TE like Coates, but they did.

There's video of him during the draft time discussing his back and that he felt confident he's fine. Scouts and teams were scared off and he slid to the 2nd round. Gronk said the Ravens told him they were going to take him. Pats called Gronk shortly after and asked Gronk if he's talked to anyone and he said the Ravens were going to take him. That's when NE leapfrogged the Ravens and took him.

I will give you props for the Dark Knight quote even if nobody else does.

Agree that the recriminations about people who were major pieces of the greatest NFL dynasty of all time are curious.

Pre-injury Gronk gets my vote for Tom’s greatest weapon of all time. Even over Moss. And he was so much fun on the field.

However, I agree with some of the sentiments above. It’s a ton bettter to watch footage of Gronk on field than it is to listen to him try to put coherent commentary together or hawk USAA banking. And I have and love USAA

Gronk is HORRIBLE as an analyst, basically just states the obvious. I think Fox sees him as the future Bradshaw in studio, the goofy idiot replacement for Bradshaw. Though I think neither are idiots, they both have that goofy dope personality.

Edelman is a better analyst. He adds more intelligent insight when he’s serious, though his podcast is cringeworthy.

I'm kinda on this program. He clearly had enough of Bill. He was an amazing player, but the end, with the motocross thing and the trade that wasn't a trade really left me with a foul taste for him. With that... I can't say that I won't watch it, but I am not rushing home to turn it on, either.

I do feel that, short of Bill telling his side of the story, between America's Game, Do your Job 1 and 2, Turning Point, The Brady 6, 3 Games to Glory, Man in The Arena, The eff'n Apple Doc, multiple AH docs and dramas... I think I am all set for now. I really want to look forward.

Who cares if he’s a big goof? Maybe that was part of why he was the best tight end, maybe it wasn’t. I bet you cheered for him when he was scoring touchdowns for us.
