Although there continue to be reports about UNC boosters being less than enthusiastic about BB's new "Be a Distraction" philosophy, it all really comes down to how the players and recruits respond to his coaching.

And even if his guys completely buy in to his coaching philosophy (which to them is more about making it into the Pros) how the guys actually perform on the field is what's going to salvage Belichick's reputation after this rocky start.

That's somewhat unfair as these aren't even his recruits and will probably be sub- .500 again, but that's the way it goes

But if I were them I'd think its pretty cool to be coached by BB as well even if they're also scratching their heads watching their head coach's behavior

It obviously all boils down to wins.

With wins also comes more clout for Hudson. She is laying low right now, but I expect the drama to ramp up when BB is fixated on coaching for the 2025 season.

Its very hard to predict how it will go. Charlie Weis could not cut it at the college level.

Something tells me that Bunny isn’t going to like the NYT doing an in depth investigation into her past. I would bet that they will demonstrate her grifting for everyone to see. But Bill will insist that her magic tongue could never tell a lie.

Except I'm not. It's way easier to look at Bill's time here with an objective eye now that he's not here. It aligns with what I said a few years ago that I care more about Tom post retirement than BB. Should not be a surprise that Bill was not at all successful without Brady and I believe it's because a defensive HC who built his reputation a couple decades ago no longer had an offensive savant (which Brady was) and guys like that ought to find it much harder to win in today's league than vice versa.
