This is a bigger story than you think. Much more significant. Wrong hire for DC. Vrabel probably realizes that now.

My post was taken down that spelled it out bluntly. Let me say the decision to hire a defensive line coach who was unhealthy and severely overweight to begin with and load him up with coordinator responsibilities had a lot going against it. A lot.

Terrell Williams will not last as DC. I hope he can come back at his natural forte, as a position coach. Less stressful. He’s proven himself as a DL coach.
I don't know. There have been a lot of fat coaches in the NFL. Rex Ryan was really fat. Matt Patricia was fat. Charlie Weiss and Romeo Crennel were fat. Andy Reid got really fat for a while. Bill Parcells was pretty fat.

Unless he had health problems prior, I didn't see this being a problem.

From now on he will always have had prior health problems. So, increased risk. Especially if he doesn’t get it under control effectively.
