If we are flipping out about INTs first day of OTA’s, it’s gonna be a LONG 4 months.
Get ready. There’s so much hype around this team. Everything is going to be over analyzed under a microscope, then beat over our heads. People can’t just take things for what they’re worth. A poor practice during day two of ****ing OTA’s. If he’s gonna be throwing interceptions, this is when people should want them. He’s learning and acclimating to new team mates. Be prepared people, there will be more days like this. Not directed at you Scott.

Prepare for the boilerplate excuses;

1. Mcdaniels offense is more complex than Einstein’s theory of telativity

2. OL sucks

3. Bad routes from WRs

4. Its all McDaniel’s fault
It's the second day of OTA's. Takes a while to work out the timing with new players and reestablish it with those coming back.

I’m typically pretty even keeled and am all about message board freedom, but you need to get a fu*king grip. It’s getting annoying as fu*k.

Be careful…common sense, level headedness and rationality don’t go over too well in these parts.

I wouldn’t worry about Onwenu’s weight until he shows up to camp fat. If he was portly in OTA’s, I don’t think Vrabel would hesitate to say something to him. Regardless, good shape or not… he is the heaviest guy on the entire team.

OTA’s is also the time to make mistakes, Drake Maye’s interceptions on day one of OTA’s in a brand new offensive scheme is a big nothing burger. If he’s still throwing picks in week one it’s a problem.

Did I read someone say the Pats could trade Vederian Lowe and get Judon type compensation… somebody please tell me that was satire.

Assuming health and a reasonably successful Will Campbell, that’s a great starting five offensive line with some good depth behind it.

I envision Baler making the team more than Polk.

Did you intentionally leave out Vederian Lowe?

He is from the last regime, though no more than Sow, but while I like your group, Lowe's right now the best of the bunch at LT, where it's still a rookie playing.

Lowe is well worth his salary, and someone might offer him a surprising contract if there is improvement.

He could probably fetch at least as much as Judon.

I wish Zachary Thomas & Mike Jordan were still here too. Don't know why they were released during the season like they were, only to be replaced by Two ****ing blob Guards, one of whom isn't even in the building any longer... Heck I thought Thomas should've been given at least one start at LT to see if he could've improved upon what Low was giving them there.

captain stone > Eliot Wolf

He won one game.
He may turn out to be great but competition is a good motivator.
He didnt win anything, the team won one game. You know the team that was statistically one of the very worst in the league. TB12 does not make last years team into a winning team. I agree competition is a good motivator but listening to Maye talk I believe he is much like Brady in being self driven and is probably harder on himself than others would be on him. This year should be very telling about the direction he is moving in as a player which certainly could lead to a benching if he turns over the ball frequently. I clearly see that as something Vrabel would do if needed. I think Dobbs will push him much harder this year than Brissett/Milton did last year.

ah....the infamous hitch that only experts can see....like bigfoot. didn't see it once in any game last year.
Not saying Bedard is right but when he says back he means it looked fixed last year but after the off-season it's back. Not saying Bedard is right but pointing out it wasn't a problem last season doesn't contradict anything he's saying.

My guess is the 4 ints lead him to the statement more than anything he saw but he does like to act like he knows what he's talking about so maybe he did see something. He acts like he's a better xs and os guy than other media but self proclamations aside I don't really know if he's ever proven to be any better than other media guys.

Either way still a long way to go and if AVP saw it and eliminated for the year no reason to think with McD that Drake can't fix it again if it even is back. And maybe they were just working on something else altogether.

We only see the end results of the practice sessions. How do we know Maye wasn't told to throw it to a certain player or to go deep with the ball. I want to see what he does when they are practicing with Commanders/Vikings, preseason games as I assume with so many new players the projected starting offense will get a decent amount of time in those games.

I would be surprised if his mechanics regressed from last season. You know he worked with a qb trainer in the offseason and I am sure the team kept watch on what he was doing. I think Bedard is just being Bedard right now.

Didn't care for either one. Lowe was still the best tackle on the team.

The overreactions to the first OTA report will be absolutely glorious
Four picks? Four PICKS?? FOUR FEKKIN' PICKS????

*yawn* it's practice. In May. Don't care.
