Dane Brugler points to Drake Maye’s relationship with Josh Downs at NC as a possible benchmark to how he and Kyle Williams will relate. Downs had an 81% success rate against man coverage so pretty close but he’s also shorter and slower.

manman thanks for making me take a second look at Kyle Williams during the Draft process. I thought his short route success wouldn't translate. Kyle Williams made everybody else look like their running in quicksand. I can see NFL CB's playing off Him: can't wait to see his double move; the boy can fly.

I only seen 2 plays
In the video the commentator says he torched Travis Hunter all day

From a Jete perspective but good all 22 breakdown of Williams

Absolutely sick thanks for sharing If Kyle Williams gets our Offense: He's already our #2 WR with a #1 ceiling. Garrett Wilson comparison Hmmmmm. We all liked Jaylin Noel too but I gave Kyle Williams the slight edge can't believe he lasted until the third.

I’ve provably seen this play as part of a compilation package but it’s nice to see it individually. He’s just such an easy mover which combined with at explosiveness just sets him apart from other defenders. He has so many highlight plays on his highlight reels, add this one to them.

Yep. He’s already a hand full. After a year or 2 with Diggs, kid’s gonna be filthy

Kyle Williams creates separation instantly. This is from Great feet, instincts, and physicality.

I believe the one part of his game he needs to improve is hand fighting. NFL dbs will try to jam him to slow his release because they fear what he will do to them with open field. Diggs will probably serve as a great mentor to learn this part of the pro game.

Steve Smiths two critiques about him doesn’t use his hands to get open, and isn’t the most natural pass catcher, doesn’t attack the ball.
I think those are pretty coachable.

When Steve Smith Sr. says he reminds him of him then you run the pick to the podium.Ifvevery player on the Patriots played the way Steve Smith St. did they would win the Super Bowl, every year.

It is tragic that Bill wasn’t able to sign him when he got released by the Panthers. I can’t remember why he chose Baltimore over the Pats (who were the other team he was considering) but he would have been dynamite with TB12. They had a long cold streak with draft picks but Bill and co. Did identify all of the following vets for potential acquisition:

- Smith Jr.

- Derrick Mason
(also came in second…Mason wanted to play for Bill and with Tom but his wife didn’t want to move to NE).

- Emmanuel Sanders (identified him as a young player with big potential, before his first breakout season, and signed him to a restricted free agent contract but weren’t aggressive enough in the offer and the Steelers matched it.)

If any of those three had signed with the Pats, we may have seen at least one more Lombardi in the trophy case.

I think the Patriots also went after a Steelers WR, didn't they? I forgot who it was. Brown or Holmes or was it someone else?

Emanuel Sanders, signed to an offer sheet the Steelers matched we went really lowball with the offer reported said 1 million more Pittsburgh couldn’t have matched. I was pissed..

I agree. It was Smith who kept the Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII. I think that, if they had signed Smith in 2014, the Patriots would have won another Super Bowl. Instead, the Patriots signed Brandon Lafell, who was, admittedly, much younger, but nothing like as good a player.

Actually, I think it was more the injuries at safety that kept the Panthers in it.

Who were the Pats’ safeties at the end of the game?
