This is the most interesting year I can remember with respect to roster building of the offensive line. So many question marks as to who will stick. What is your prediction as to how the line shakes out?

The 5 locks IMO:

LT
Campbell
LG ???
C Bradbury, Wilson (C/G)
RG Onwenu
RT Moses

Camp competition:

Strange G/C
- his back up center versatility helps even if not the starter at LG. Might be a pennies on the dollar trade candidate. Might be better in a zone run scheme.
Brown OC - cut barring injury
Robinson G - has a chance to earn the LG1 spot or first LG/RG off the bench.
T Robinson G - cut
Sow G - has a chance as LG1 given the McD gap run scheme.
Schwitzer G - I think he's cut
Wallace T/G - Can he be a serviceable swing tackle? If so, Lowe is expendable.
Lowe LT - wish he had RT versatility. Could be a trade piece for a team with injury at LT?
Bryant G - practice squad
Jacobs T - cut
Conley G - practice squad

Mod Edit: Poll Added
Poll is based on idea that early draft picks (LT Will Campbell, 1st round; C Jared Wilson, 3rd round) are locks, as are high profile free agents (RT Morgan Moses; C Garrett Bradbury) and a two veterans (Mike Onwenu and Cole Strange) in order to fit all the others into the poll.

Easiest prediction of any position group

Starters
Canpbell
Strange
Bradbury
Onwenu
Moses.

Backups
IOL Wilson Robinson
OT. Wallace Lowe

The rest are fitting forc practice squad spots.

FYI Lowe has played on the right. He sucked there too.

Schweitzer is the wild card. He could beat out Sow. After all, Schweitzer is a veteran starter at LG and Sow has shown very little. he has connections with Downing, one of the coaches. Why will Vrabel bring in a veteran who has worked with one of his coaches and then cut him in order to how that Sow can develop?

Of course, Sow could beat out Strange, and Strange would be traded.

I agree with this. I’d add Sow too as a backup IOL. I think we’ll keep 10 on the OL.

Wallace versus Lowe for the last spot.

Lowe will be cut if Wallace isn't considered a bust.

I expect Robinson to make it.

Sow is the wild care. He should be kept unless they've given up on him.

Only Mayo thinks that Wallace can be a starting LT if our starter is out.

I think you are pretty spot on with your OL group with the exception being your comment on Lowe.
I understood his better position is RT

Strange is the safe pick at LG. You have one more year to evaluate robinson and sow to see if you need to prioritize this next year or if we have our answer on the roster.

Same with cadean wallace and rt, though id love to get 2 years out of moses.

Feel pretty good about Wilson taking control of the c spot by 26, until then bradberry is ok.

With practice squad call ups there is no reason to keep 10. The 10th would be inactive every week.

That could be true; we’ll see. Anyways, I’m happy that almost everyone will be fighting for a roster spot in TC. That’s the benefit of a major roster overhaul; it creates competition which makes the team better.

I think the path to keeping 10 is that both Sow and Robinson really show the promise that made them 4th round picks and guys you think would get claimed by other teams, while simultaneously Wallace looks decent enough not to give up on but not so good that you trust him as the swing tackle (particularly left side). Just do the math from there...

the 5 starters are Campbell/Strange/Bradbury/Onwenu/Moses. Wilson is guaranteed a 6th spot due to draft status. if Sow/Robinson prove their draft slot then that's worth keeping both considering Strange is a FA and Onwenu's contact is set up to be a cut candidate. That's now up to 8. Wallace would be up to 9, but we said earlier they don't trust him as the swing tackle. So now you keep Lowe, that's 10.

Sow/Robinson looking good enough to keep and Wallace looking not great but not so bad to cut aren't exactly outlandish possibilities, and I think would create a plausible path to 10.

It’s not impossible that Onwenu gets traded. He is a bad combination of being expensive and not a leader at a less important position.

Who will trade for his cap hit .. We might get a 5th or 6th rounder at max unless we eat cap space.

I have a sneaky feeling Lowe will become our Swing tackle or right tackle of future. His measurables are insane . If he gets decent coaching who knows ...

Strange being a Better center fit will possibly get traded for a sixth rounder .

Sow will be LG backup along with Schweitzer.

Wallace could end up being a right tackle or right guard backup. Possibly replacing onwenu / Moses next year . Same goes with Robinson too but he might be more on right guard .

I feel qe will have 10 offensive linemen considering we have too many veterans.

Campbell, Schweitzer, Bradbury, onwenu, Moses will be the core lineup

Backup center - Wilson
Backup RT/ RG - Wallace ( looking as Moses replacement )
Backup LG - Sow
Swing tackle - Lowe
Backup RG - Robinson
