Not to throw cold water. But even if this draft lives up to are hopes. History shows 1 great draft isn't enough typically. You really need 2 to go from a bottom team to the super bowl. 1 great draft gets you back on track and makes you respectable. Two is what puts you over the top. One more like this next year and we are really talking about being back.

Not only that, but they have to nail next years draft because they aren’t going to find answers on offense in free agency. Wide Receiver is barron, and no one lets good OL walk. If anything it will be the same formula as this offseason, address defensive needs in free agency, and offense in the draft. Fortunately they won’t be doing a complete overhaul again, but they will still have to nail the decisions they do make.

Hollins
Williams
Diggs
Chism III
Douglas

Bourne
Polk
Boutte
Baker

Unless there are a lot of injuries, Boutte is gone.
I think they keep 6, and he's the 6th.
If Polk or baker are still here, they've either vastly improved or somebody died.

Schooler has been good but only moving towards the line of scrimmage.

We need a FS that covers TEs, goes sideline to sideline, plays the deep part of the field, etc.
Dugger and peppers are excellent 8 yards around the LOS.. they get exposed when they have to defend TEs pass that point. Mapu is better suited there. But agree the deep half of the field we need a guy to take command of that job. It makes the secondary even better.

They dumped Milton when people thought they would keep him. The Boutte rumors might be true too.

I certainly feel more comfortable about next year after seeing what we did this.

As someone who gets a kick out of scouting day three type guys

I'm not sure we'd get anything worth moving Boutte.. a young WR, that makes plays and has good hands actually working out in NE is a anomaly. Keep boutte!!
Henderson will split out as a WR too. Hollins, Henderson, Diggs, Williams, and Douglas, plus Chism III, Bourne, and Polk. There are no snaps for Boutte unless there are major injuries.

We might keep 4 RBs if Larison makes it. Henderson and Larison will split out as WRs. In that case we will not keep 6 WRs. Boutte might make it because of injuries but doubtful at the moment.

Are we putting Chism ahead of the returning guys ?

Boutte is the #3 . Diggs, pop, Boutte, Williams, Hollins will be in on some plays and red zone formations. Plenty for Boutte. However I'd love to be wrong.. that would mean Williams out played him in camp. Another thing wanted to ask.. what's your take on rham.? Is he expendable with Henderson??

Well we may not need to carry 11 OL into opening day like we did last season either, because they had no idea who could play or not.

Once Diggs is 100%, I think it's him, Pop, and Williams. Boutte is decent but he might have a hard time seeing the field

I can see them lining up Henderson in the slot like they did White every now and then

If he does what I think he can do, I think at the very least he can replace Baker in returns, and literally any production on the field replaces Polk and baker.
