And I hope Ian and every other mindless pajama wearing fanboy enjoys your *********** tonight, because the fall out from this pick is going to be painful.

The Pats won’t be sniffing the playoffs anytime soon, throwing away premium draft picks on good guys that can’t play.

I just dont see how you can say he is a guy that cant play. He did play. He played really well in an extremly hard division. Every rookie has concerns but if you watch how he PLAYED it looks good. He shut down a lot of talented edge rushers.

Man ... you're on a roll here the last couple of days. I fall under the mindset of trusting the guys who watched the film and know more than I do to make these decisions. And Campbell's not a "good guy" - he's got an edge to him, and he's a guy who will go out there and throw down against whoever. He's also extremely athletic and played close to 40 games at a high level in one of the toughest conferences in the country.

And Vrabel has already talked about "good guys" and that's not what they're after.

"You can’t win, and you can’t do what we want to do with just a bunch of good dudes," said Vrabel. "That’s not going to get it done.”

So that's not at all what he's looking for.

I get it, nobody likes drafting a tackle at #4. But when you take into account that their best option right now is Vederian Lowe, it's not ideal. And Campbell is a better player than Lowe, so they're already better from that standpoint.

I mean, this draft didn't exactly have a first round loaded with high-end talent at the skill positions. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Had they traded down last year and not taken Maye, I can only imagine the shape they'd be in this year. Would have absolutely been scary.

As I said over on Reddit, the excitement from this pick will come from the plays Maye makes this fall when he isn't running for his life.
Yeah, we should have traded down and got Simmons with his busted PATELLA and same length arms...
Bah

In all honestly I’m curious what the haters of this pick thought was a better option? Maybe you like Membou better, ok it’s a fair argument. But outside of that and other “well if we trade these four assets and get back ten assets in return…” what was the clearly better option ?
****ies are gonna piss down their fkn leg, and there are a LOT of ****ies here pissing down their leg right now.
Fkn Disgrace, they don't care about the TEAM, they just want to say "SEE, I was right"
Bah

But.... but.... his arms are the same length as that one ****ty LT that played for us.... what was his name? Matt Light? That loser only locked down LT for us for a decade while we won championships!

OMG, the draft value point chart says something something to my moron brain that this was a bad pick. So angry! We could have had a something percent chance at a HOFer at something something position.

I'm praying he's the next coming of Bruce Armstrong. There's not a lot of other player comparisons.

He's a great athlete, he's strong... hopefully he moves like a mongoose.

If he can play tackle and assuming health, they have the making of a great offensive line.

They should still take another OT around the 3rd round.

And so many of these idiots were so certain drafting Maye would be a big mistake. Could you imagine where we’d be right now?

Idiots and ****ies are RAMPANT on here
Bunch of fkn ******s.
