DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION Official 2025 Draft Thread: Day One

I'm curious about those who don't want Campell (or T-mac) and who they do want at 4. There's a lot of negativity and not many alternatives offered.
I'm good with just about any of the players in that range. I think in part because LT is our biggest need, in part because there's a lot of smoke he'll be the pick, and in part because they all mostly have their own flaws Ive settled on Campbell but I'm not going to complain with a number of guys.

There hasn’t been a single Pro Bowl OT with a wingspan under 80 inches in the last 25 years. And if that doesn’t matter to you, do yourself a favor and don’t invest your own money.
What money?

He's trolling and he's gonna derail this thread if we let him.

It's best to ignore it.

Trade the **** down.
As long as there's some capital involved next year it's worth it. Outside of Hunter there's not a hell of a lot of separation into the 2nd round between players.

Carter, Campbell, Jeanty are "the best" prospects at their positions, but there's not a hell of a lot of separation between Campbell and Conerly, or Jeanty and Henderson, or Carter and Walker. Not nearly enough to stick at 4 when you can drop to 9 or 10 and pick up capital in 2026. I'd be OK taking less than "the chart".

I wasn't a fan of picking Campbell at 4 but after watching his interviews I'm warming up to him. He seems to have heart and that's BIG...

Do you understand the difference between correlation and causation?
Why does it matter? Explain why it matters. What does 2 inches of wingspan do to make a LT better? How many times does the extra one inch when extending your arm as far as it goes make a difference on a block? Can you show me a clip of a T using that inch to make a difference?

You have to ignore because you can’t answer.

Trade down is the only thing to do at this point and if any team after us in the top ten does it then the Patriots are really gonna hear about it.
