In a discussion about BPA I said that rather than viewing players in a strict numerical order (prospect 3 on your big board is BPA over prospect 4 or 5 for eg), you should look at them in tiers ( prospects 3,4 and 5 have similar grades and you should take the one that best improves the team). If the Patriots draft both Will Campbell and Logan Brown, who I first brought to the forum’s attention as I was interested in him as a high school player, Campbell won’t be playing LT in two years’ time. It’ll be Mr. Brown who, if his career didn’t go sideways with the Wisconsin Badgers, very well would be in the first round discussion.

Last year, post draft the scuttlebutt was Campbell and Banks were 1 and 1A of the tackles for this years draft. I know, because I checked the rankings. Nothing said oh they might be guards. Thats happened during this collegiate season. Strange.
