Sorry to break it to you, but the Bills didn't trade Diggs because he was still an all-pro. They traded him because his talents had waned and they no longer matched his production.

For most of this career, you delt with the Diggs headache because his talent made it worth. But then the talent slipped and it was no longer a good ratio.

Why do you think the Texans didn't keep him? Same reason.

Is that why they gave him the contact extension and Josh Allen became the player he became with diggs??

At age 31 he still is a great player.. diggs route running prowess is what allows him to set up defenders and get inside of CBs.. father time yes catches up with every player.. however diggs is still a play maker..
