Pending the schedule looking at either September or October. Any suggestions for the smoothest/best experience?
I'm a Foxboro resident so I sneak in and out through the back so I don't have much advice other than to say if you're willing to pay for the hotels that would seem like a no brainer. I've always wanted to try it despite my easy commute.depends how much money you want to spend. i go about 3 times per year from new york. i drive up the morning of and stay at the Renaissance Hotel at Patriots Place the night of the game. some stay the night before. i love it. but they charge like its the 4 seasons.
If you're staying in Boston you can take the Patriots Express. It runs every game day.Going to Gillette for the first time this fall. Pending the schedule looking at either September or October. Any suggestions for the smoothest/best experience?

Get so hammered at the pregame you pass out on the side of your car and miss the game. That's what I like to do.
